I locked eyes with Jayas one final time. In that fleeting moment, a silent communication passed between us.

“Three…”

He conveyed strength, pride, and unwavering faith in me.

I responded with determination, silently vowing to find a way to bring him back to full health.

“Two…”

The familiar sensation of pre-launch, a combination of a jolt and a lurch.

“One...”

The chamber around me blurred.

“Launch.”

The pod’s glassy walls stretched and distorted as my pod hurtled back toward the arena.

As the initial disorientation subsided, I found myself hurtling through a dazzling expanse of stars and nebulae, the vast cosmos around me a breathtaking panorama of swirling colors and luminous orbs.

Each star represented a possibility, a potential path.

Soon, the celestial landscape started converging, solidifying into a tangible terrain.

The vastness of space was replaced by the rich green of the jungle, its leaves waving like an enormous ocean.

Gathering my wits, I braced myself for the challenges that awaited.

With Jayas incapacitated, the odds were stacked against me.

But I wasn’t going down without a fight.

The game was on.

The pod door slid open with a faint hiss, its hydraulics releasing me into an alien world.

My bare feet met soft, lush grass as I stumbled out into a wide, verdant clearing.

The dual suns, one pale blue and the other a muted orange, bathed the landscape in an ethereal light.

The peculiar juxtaposition of their colors created a mesmerizing dance of shadows on the ground.

In the past, every time I exited the pod, Jayas would appear almost magically from the foliage.

He’d swoop down with an air of commanding assurance, his tall frame protecting me from any impending danger.

But this time was different.

This time, Jayas was injured, possibly incapacitated.

I had to find him,and fast.

Relying on memory, I traced the paths we had taken in past rounds.

Which direction had he approached from?
