It stumbled back, shuffling its nose as if it were about to sneeze.

My previous wonder was replaced with an instinctual need to escape.

Get the hell out of Dodge!

The sounds of the jungle blurred into a frenzied backdrop as I ran, the pounding footfalls of the colossal alien male growing ever louder behind me.

Each second was a flurry of movement and fear.

The beautiful, glowing forest became a maze of potential dangers and obstacles.

Roots threatened to trip me, and overhead branches snagged at my hair and clothing.

I dared a quick glance over my shoulder and saw the alien male, his immense form moving with a predator’s grace, gaining on me.

Adrenaline surged, pushing me to run faster, to find somewhere, anywhere, to hide.

The tremors underfoot grew stronger with every step I took.

It felt as though I wasn’t just running from the creature, but from the very ground itself, rebelling against my presence.

The jungle floor heaved and shuddered, making me question whether it was the beast’s footfalls or alien seismic activity.

The mysterious pull from earlier was now a frantic push, urging me further, faster.

But no matter how hard I tried, I was no match for the speed and power of my pursuer.

Suddenly, a massive hand encircled my waist, lifting me off the ground.

I screamed, flailing wildly, my legs kicking at the empty air.

The world around me became a dizzying blur of vibrant colors as the beast held me tight, its fingers curling around me with a terrifying grip.

Panic surged, and my thoughts raced.

How could something so large move soswiftly?

And why was this creature so intent on capturing me?

Its intent became clear as it started to clumsily fumble at my clothes, making crude attempts to…

Undress me?

I cried out, hot tears streaming down my face, my hands clawing at its massive fingers. “No! Let me go!” I screamed, though my voice seemed feeble and small against the backdrop of the beast’s grunting and the still-shaking earth.

I tried to gather my thoughts, to find some way, any way, to escape.

My mind flashed back to moments before the crash, back to the safety of my pod and the universe I knew.

How had I ended up in this situation?

Was this the end of my journey, at the hands of this monstrous creature in a world so unfamiliar?

He tore my clothing, shredding it from my body.

Then he lay me down on the jungle floor, on a large bed of soft moss.

I tried to scramble up onto my feet to flee but he pressed me down with a powerful hand.
