I look at her mouth, realizing that despite her background, this girl is so much emotionally smarter and more mature than me, and it’s humbling.
“I don’t know,” I say simply. “I can’t think of a single reason right now.” And I crush my lips to hers.
She kisses me back immediately, fiercely, intensely, sliding her arms around my waist and hugging me tightly—as much as her bump allows, anyway. I turn her and move her back against the wall, tilting my head to change the angle, my lips slanting across hers.
In response, she moves her hands down to the bottom of my All Blacks shirt, lifts the hem, and slides her hands underneath. Both of us groan as she brushes her fingers up my back.
Ahhh… her lips are so soft, and her deep murmurs send all the hairs rising across my body. I want her so badly. I can’t believe this is happening.
Because of her bump, our hips can’t meet, and she slides a hand down my chest and stomach to my groin, closing over my erection. I lift my head as she gives it a gentle squeeze.
“Just checking,” she says. “Hard for me already, Saxon?”
“I’ve been hard for you for four months,” I tell her gruffly, kissing her neck and up to her ear. Turning her, I begin to walk her backward to the bedroom.
She sighs as I tease her earlobe with my tongue. “Saxon?”
“Hmm?” I suck it, and she shivers.
“Can I ask you something?”
“You can always ask me anything.” I move her into the hallway to the bedrooms.
She puts her hands on my chest to stop me. “I need to ask you… Is it okay for me to have sex? I mean, it’s not weird? And it won’t hurt the babies? I’m sorry if it’s a silly question.”
I cup her face. “It’s not silly at all. Actually, I asked Mat the same thing this morning.”
“Really?”
“Yeah. He said it’s fine providing you’re feeling okay. The babies aren’t aware of anything, and they’re well protected.”
She gives a relieved smile. “And there’s nothing we shouldn’t do?”
“Ah…” My lips curve up.
‘What? Come on, you’ve got to tell me.”
I give her a mischievous look. “He said not to go anus-to-vagina, as it can transfer bacteria to the baby.”
“Oh.” Her eyes widen. “What did you say?”
“I said we’d probably start with kissing and go from there.”
Her lips twitch. Then she runs her tongue over her teeth, her eyes turning sultry. “So you have been thinking about having sex with me, then?”
“I’ve been thinking about it non-stop. You’re lucky I didn’t throw you on my desk at work and have my wicked way with you.”
Laughing, she fiddles with the collar of my shirt. “I don’t know how it all works. With the bump, I mean. Won’t it get in the way?”
I start moving her backward again. “I don’t know. I think it’ll be fun trying different positions, don’t you?”
“Yeah,” she says shyly. “Can I… um… keep my dress on?”
Once we’re through the door to my room, I close it behind us, quickly go over and open the bedroom window because it’s warm, then come back to her and move her toward the bed. “What do you mean?”
“I’m anxious about you seeing me with no clothes on. I’m scared it’ll freak you out. So can I keep it on?”
“Yeah, totally.”
