I hate to admit this, but the besotted alien guy might be right. I'm from Earth, which means I have no spaceship of my own to return home in. Not only that, the aliens abducting me didn't allow time for packing. I'm only wearing what I had on when seeing what the hell was going on outside.
He's right about us being a match and I do feel he'd be the best partner for me, but I can't stay on this tiny rock of a planet. I have a life to go back to at home even if he doesn't have anything or anyone waiting for him on his homeworld.
When the chance comes for me to leave, I have to take it.
