“Yes. Yesterday. Why?” I asked nervously and he shook his head.

“Don’t ask questions, Kitten.” He said firmly before he took my hand and led me along the shoreline around a small bend of trees.

A picnic blanket was lying on the ground with a basket ready and I glanced at him, trying to figure out when he set this up.

“Leo. He wasn’t actually sleeping. We organized this earlier.” Riley said playfully and I laughed.

“You two have formed an alliance that I am not sure how I feel about it.” I joked and Riley smiled, taking my hand, and leading me toward the blanket.

“Come and sit like the good girl I know you can be.” He teased and my entire body got all warm and fuzzy while heat shot straight to my core.

“You like being called a good girl?” Riley questioned as I sat down.

“Perhaps,” I said teasingly and he just nodded.

I went to reach for the basket, and he lightly slapped the top of my hand.

“Stop. You just sit there. I’ll do this.” He said firmly and I held my hands up in defeat before I crossed my legs, waiting patiently.

I watched as Riley unpacked some sparkling wine, an assortment of fruits and cheeses with pate and crackers then what looked like a silky scarf.

“What’s that for?” I asked and he just looked at me.

“Okay, don’t ask questions,” I muttered and he gave me a small smile and nodded.

“Turn around.” He said and I slowly shuffled around on the blanket, my back to Riley.

“I have waited a very long time to finally have you to myself. Do you know how many nights I imagined what I would do with you? I have made love to you, fucked you, devoured you, possessed you, owned you, more times than I can count in my mind.” He murmured as he touched my shoulders, running his hands up to my neck before he kissed behind my ear.

“And now that I have you, it feels like a dream that I don’t want to wake from.” He added before I felt the light touch of the silk against my neck.

“I want to take my time getting to know every inch of you, every sound you make, every freckle on your skin, every strand of hair, every part of your soul, do you know why, Katerina?” He asked as he placed the silk over my eyes.

“Why?” I whispered, my body already alight with anticipation, his words sending chills down my spine.

“Because you already own every part of me.” He said softly as his fingers wrapped around my throat and gently pulled me back against him.

He captured my lips with his, kissing me as if we had all the time in the world. My world narrowed to Riley, to the sound of his breath, the touch of his fingers against my throat, and the warmth of his body behind me.

“Are you going to be my good girl, Kitten?” He crooned and I nodded as his fingertips caressed my collarbone.

“I need your words, Kat.” He said firmly and I licked my lips as I said “Yes.”

His fingers disappeared and I found myself straining to listen and figure out what he was doing behind me.

When he returned, his legs were on either side of my body as he pulled me back to his chest, letting me lay back and rest against him.

“Open.” He said as his fingers traced my lips.

I did as he said, parting my lips when a piece of gooey camembert cheese was placed on my tongue.

I closed my mouth around his fingers, accepting the offering.

The tangy flavor felt even more intense than usual now that I couldn’t see and I was hyper-aware of his fingers trailing up and down my arm on the other side.

“Again.” He said, his voice low and yet no less firm as I parted my lips again and the crisp, cool, watermelon slice was placed on my tongue.

The juices exploded in my mouth as I sank my teeth into it, the sweetness a contrast to the tangy flavor of cheese moments before.
