“Don’t you think it's time to get some toys in this garden for the children, what do you say, Angel?” I'm pulled from my thoughts as I look up at him.

“Yes, darling, we should do that. I have a feeling our family is just going to keep growing with more and more children.” I squeeze him to me.

It's been a week since the christening. The feeling of restlessness is getting worse. I feel like I can't take a full breath. We haven't been in touch with Mr. Townsend since right after Maya's birthday. Patrice and I walk around the compound with Isabella in her pram. The September weather is growing cooler, but we've had little rain so the fields are dry and the trees are starting to drop their leaves. Getting out and walking has been my exercise lately. We walk into the house to Joshua with a huge smile on his face.

“What, honey?” I ask him, smiling back.

“The barrister just called. The courts ruled in your favor, you're officially divorced.”

“Really? Oh God, Joshua, that's wonderful!” I hug him.

“I have more news. The evidence has reached the authorities. That's the reason the court ruled in your favor. An arrest warrant has been issued for Jonathan, Lawrence, and Stephan. They've all dropped off the grid, but they will find them.” He pulls me tightly to him.

“Did you tell Maya?”

“Yes, they're on their way over here now.” I pull back and look in his eyes.

I'm a free woman in a sense, but I know until they find Jonathan there is still a danger. Maya, Duncan, and Daddy walk in. Maya walks over to me and pulls me from Joshua's arms.

“You're a free woman finally. Let's party like its nineteen ninety-nine.” I smile at her.

“I can't party, I have a baby, and you have a husband. Plus, my boyfriend might have a problem with it.” I wink at Joshua.

“Damn straight, give me my girl back, woman,” he says as he pulls me away from her.

“Hey, stop fighting over my little sister, she was mine first,” Duncan says as he pulls me away from them both. He picks me up with my feet dangling. “Bought time you got rid of that bloody wanker, baby sister. I'm happy for you.”

“Thank you, Duncan, love you too.” He puts me down, and we all proceed to the parlor with everyone excitedly talking.

“Tomorrow I'm taking her shopping,” Maya pipes in.

“Not without a security detail,” Joshua demands.

“Hey, buddy, what am I?” Maya quips back.

Everyone is so excited, I finally feel the oppressive feeling lifting off us.

“You need to contact the US attorney, and we still need to find out who killed Bella and Maya's parents,” Daddy says.

“I agree, until he's taken care of, no one leaves the compound without back up.”

“I'll just take her to the shopping center, the guys can follow behind and stay in their Rover.”

“Okay, but they'll be close, and someone will ride with you.”

Maya and I have been practicing some Krav Maga, Joshua finally let her teach me. Maya and Joshua have been working with me at the range on shooting too. I feel more confident in myself but I know I have nothing on the team. I have my check up with Jen and the neurologist on Monday and can't wait. I miss my intimate time with Joshua.

Jen goes into Dundee to her practice every day with Derek as her escort, and Rebekah watches Tommy for her. I feel like my life is finally complete. Now if they could just find Jonathan and Sir, it will all end.

Maya and I pull into one of Wellgate's parking structures. We lost Ian and Derek a little while ago when someone pulled in front of them. Greg is riding with us in Maya's Porsche SUV. The communication units went down when we were separated. The guys didn’t want us stopped alongside the road, so we continued. We haven't been shopping together just her and me since before Isabella was born. All the wedding dresses were ordered online. Maya and I want to talk some compound gossip without everyone knowing.

I turn to look back at Greg. “Cover your ears if you don't want to hear gossip.” He smiles.

“Okay…so she was his wife until two years ago, and Tommy is almost a year and half. Was she cheating on Ian,” Maya asks?

“No, I really think Tommy is Ian's, and she hasn't told him. Look at that little boy closely, and you'll see it. Plus at your wedding she said she still loves Ian, no mention of Tommy’s daddy.”

“But she divorced Ian. How can she still love him?”
