"Razor," I whisper, my heart pounding as I grab his arm, yanking him back toward me.

He turns and I see rage in his eyes too. “I’ve got this covered, Cola.”

I shake my head, not liking the way I’m feeling right now. "Please, can we just walk away or something?”

He shakes his head and turns back to face my father, and my dad’s fist collides with his face.

The fight erupts like a volcano under an asinine amount of pressure.

Their bodies become blurs as they lay into each other, both about as big as the other.

God, I know they’re going to hurt each other.

I scream at the top of my lungs, “Stop!” but my voice is lost in the chaos.

Boulder and Doom rush to intervene, my father and Razor shoving them off so they can keep fighting each other.

“Stop it!” I scream again, but they ignore me.

I wanted to tell my dad about Razor and me when I was ready.

When I knew what we were, but we haven’t made any decisions, so what was I supposed to tell him?

Everything is so chaotic right now, and because I didn't give him a heads up, everything is going to shit.

Fuck, this is all my fault.

"Enough!" Boulder roars, but nothing happens.

Doom and Boulder rush up again, pulling Razor off my father, but my dad lands one last punch on my boyfriend.

I go over to my father and grab his arm.

In the heat of the moment, he shoves me off him and I go colliding into the wall with a thud.

Razor hollers out, “Let me fuckin’ go!”

Razor uses god-like strength to shove them off him and darts over to me, scanning over my features. “Are you all right?”

I nod, “Yeah, he was caught up in the heat of the moment. Okay? Don’t make this situation worse.”

Razor’s furious, shaking his head. “He made this worse, baby, not me.”

Before I can say another word, Razor rises and faces my father, landing one last punch. “Don’t you ever fuckin’ touch her again. Do you hear me? What kind of father puts his hands on his own daughter?”

“I didn’t know it was her,” Dad grumbles, but I notice the regret in his eyes.

My heart aches as I take in their bruised and battered faces.

Razor shakes his head, “Doesn’t fuckin’ matter. You’re bein’ a real idiot fuckin’ with a VP of the club. You know that, right?”

I know at this point their conversation is shifting to club business, but I can’t stand by and let this happen.

I get up and layer my voice with sass. “Razor, fucking stop.”

I watch as he blinks hard and turns to look at me. “Sorry, what?”

Glaring into his eyes, I don’t back down. “You fucking heard me. This is a family matter, not one that needs to happen in front of the whole club.”
