Razor steps up beside me, wrapping an arm around my waist. “Anything you create is going to be amazing, Cola. I’ve seen so many pieces of yours. To say you’re talented is a massive understatement, and I’m not the kind of guy who dishes out compliments.”

He isn’t.

Razor is one of the most critical people I know, and the hardest to impress.

Sure, he’s a nice guy and all, but I’ve learned so much about him since we connected in LA.

I can’t help but smile to myself, not only because of what he just said, but because I’m happier than ever.

Razor is a stand-up, good guy, who would kill for me if it was necessary.

When my father was here it was harder to be happy.

I constantly felt like I had my guard up and I couldn’t enjoy myself.

Sure, my father apologized to me, but I don’t know how much of it was actually genuine.

He still has a problem with Razor, and I don’t know if it will ever get better.

I pray it will because I want my dad to be happy for me.

Razor turns me around quickly, pulling me against his chest, and runs a hand over my head. “I’ve missed this, having you all to myself.”

The club has been so chaotic lately with the prospects finally here, plus Axel and Rosa transferring.

They rode back out to Montana yesterday since they need to actually pack and bring their things here.

Rosa was telling me she’s having a hard time accepting the fact Amara doesn’t want them in the clubhouse.

It’s odd, but I get a sense of what Amara means by keeping the officers outside of the clubhouse.

I ended up speaking to Amara about it, and she said with me and Razor it didn’t bother her since we’re not at the level where we’re having kids and stuff.

Amara knows I can’t have children naturally, so when the time comes where I think we’re ready to make that step, it will probably be our sign to move out of the clubhouse.

Licking my lips, I agree with him. “Me too. It’s always so busy in here,”

I capture his mouth, pouring as much longing and need that I can in it.

Razor growls as he deepens the kiss.

His hands move higher, running against the underwire of my bra.

I break away with a gasp, gnawing on my bottom lip.

Shaking my head, I know we don’t have the time for this. “The others will be back soon.”

My words come out breathy, aching for him, but as much as I want this, I can’t.

I promised Lashes I’d go shopping with her for furniture.

She needs things for her room, and Amara gave me the go ahead to get more things for the clubhouse.

Razor sighs, “Didn’t think you’d be the one to cockblock us.”

I playfully shove at his chest, “Come on,” I tilt my head to the side, “I am not cockblocking us. I told Lashes I’d go out with her, remember?”

Razor raises both of his brows. “Oh, so now you’re switchin’ teams, huh?”
