“Port Authority.”
He nods, opening the door of the black SUV. I should be wary of climbing in this vehicle with a strange man, but right now it’s the least of my worries.
Sliding inside, he shuts the door behind me. I notice my duffle on the seat next to me and open it, wanting to know what’s inside. Nico’s father wasn’t lying. My real passport and birth certificate sit on top of a pile of clothes, the name I ran away from staring right back at me. The tears come harder now and with a weary sigh, I zip the bag back up, not wanting to see my past.
Falling back in my seat, I squeeze my eyes closed, my thoughts going to Nico and all that I found out. Anger slithers through my veins and before I let anything form in my mind, I quickly shove them away.
Fuck him.
Fuck his father too.
As the car pulls away from the curb, a sense of calm washes over me and I mentally go over what I’m going to do next.
I don’t really have a plan in place. I just know that no matter what happens, I will be okay.
I disappeared once before. I can do it again.
I just need to make sure Nico can never find me.

Dancing in Sin has been a long time coming and something that was due to release in August last year. Unfortunately, things didn’t go to plan and a case of writer’s block hit, preventing me from giving you something that I could be proud of. After a couple of months of not writing, I finally snapped out of it and Nico and Ocean’s story was completed. As you now know, this ended on a cliffhanger but don’t worry, you can continue their story in Twisted in Obsession, coming in just two short weeks.
I want to say a big thank Kalie who pushed me and helped in so many ways. Without you cheerleading me on from the sidelines, I don’t know if this duet would have happened.
