"He did."

"He totally did."

I hand the book to Gran for safekeeping and then take Col by the hand to the dance floor. Seeing us, the jazz band starts playing the somewhat…unconventionalfirst dance song.

We start swaying.

"I can't believe you really went through with this song choice."

Col lifts a shoulder. "If you hadn't been belting it out at the top of your lungs and woken me up, we would never have met."

That's right, ladies and gentlemen, our first dance wedding song is Katy Perry's "Roar."

I press Col closer into me. "This is my favorite lyric," I whisper.

"Oh, and why's that?"

"Because you used to be so quiet when we first got together, and now…"—I pause for a moment to line up my words with the lyrics, paraphrasing them a little—"I love making you roar oh-oh-oh-oh-oh."

He chuckles. "You'll hear me roar all night, mate."

I pull back slightly. "All night? But the honeymoon is for two weeks. You'll be roaring for the next fourteen days and fourteen nights, Cap. I'll have to book you throat surgery for when we get back."

He shakes his head, but his eyes, those beautiful blue-green eyes that I get to spend the rest of my life staring into, are sparkling. "So, now we're legally wed, will you keep asking me to rate you every time we have sex?"

"Nope. Like I said, I was only doing that until I knew you were mine." I reach down and lift his hand, brushing my thumb over his wedding ring. "And now you are."

He grins as he rests his cheek on my shoulder. "I am."

"I can't believe how well today went," I murmur, stroking the back of his head. "We'remarried."

"I know. Nothing went wrong. It was the best, most perfect day of my life."

"You realise this means you can't leave now."

He lifts his head. "Drats. And here I was getting Kolby and Bridge to help me dig a tunnel out of here."

We move gently to the jazzy rendition of "Roar," staring into each other's eyes. "I will never get sick of you," I say.

"I would love to be able to say the same thing in return."

I laugh. "I'm pretty sure you find me irresistible."

Col runs his fingers over my gel-slicked hair. "I'm pretty sure you're right."

My core clenches, and, yep, it's time for us to leave and for me to devour my husband. I wonder if Dunlop would mind us fucking on his plane, because I don't think I'm going to be able to keep my hands off my husband until we land.

"Should we head off?" he asks, reading my mind.

"Fuck yeah."

I was hoping to perform for the crowd, but fuck it, there's only one person I want to perform for.

We stop dancing and are about to do the whole bouquet throwing bit when Fitz and Muir spot us and come over.

"The ceremony was beautiful," Muir says.

"It was," Fitz agrees. "You guys have been surrounded by people all day so we didn't get a chance to see you earlier."
