He had totally missed the heavy wood chair in the middle of the room. And the fucking restraints on the chair. Jackson groaned. “Really?”

Finn’s hand tightened on his shoulder. “Yes.” He guided Jackson over to the chair and pushed him down.

Jackson could have fought. Hell, no one could really force Jackson to do anything he didn’t want. Jackson was too well trained. So why was he sitting there as Finn secured his ankles and wrists to the chair?

“What is going on?” Michael sounded distressed.

Jackson tried to see Michael, but Finn’s larger body was in the way. Jackson made a sound, but Finn ignored him. The leather restraints were secure. It would take Jackson a lot longer to get out of them, but he was sure that he would manage eventually.

Once he was tied down, Finn straightened. “Now you won’t be going anywhere until we talk. Or you use your safe word.”

Why was it worse that Jackson had to agree with this? He could force Finn’s hand and say red. Finn would release him. Jackson didn’t want to be released. In fact, he wished Finn could keep him tied down all the time. If Finn was going to all this trouble, it had to mean something. If Jackson was tied down, then he couldn’t run.

“I don’t understand,” Michael said quietly.

“Jackson needs to understand that it was his choice to stay or not. He can say his safe word and I’ll let him go. But he also needs to know that we’ll fight for him.” Finn hugged Michael close to his chest.

Damn it! Jackson wanted to touch too!

“I’m not going to like this, am I?” Michael asked.

“No, baby.” Finn sounded as upset as Michael.

Jackson had done that. He’d hurt the only two people that he loved. Dropping his head to his chest, he counted down from ten. Was he even worth all this trouble? No, he wasn’t. Did he want to be worth all this trouble? He did. And Finn was going to force him to say it.

“Why don’t you sit on the couch, baby? I’m going to get us drinks.”

“Okay, Daddy.”

Michael didn’t call Finn Daddy all that often. Not nearly as often as the other littles used the honorific. It meant that Michael was feeling especially vulnerable. Looking up, Jackson’s guilt intensified as Michael sat on the couch, hugging his knees.

“Michael…I—”

Michael shook his head. “I can imagine how bad this is going to be. I’m going to say one thing.”

“Okay.” Jackson swallowed hard. He deserved whatever Michael said to him.

“I love you.”

Chapter Nine

Michael

Jackson’s eyes widened before they began to fill.

Michael nearly panicked. He’d never seen Jackson come close to crying before. What had Michael done?

Luckily, Daddy Finn—and yes it was currently Daddy—crouched down beside Jackson.

“Breathe, Jackson. It’s okay.”

Jackson nodded. He looked up at Michael. “I love you too. Both of you.”

“There. That wasn’t so hard, was it?” Finn patted Jackson’s back.

Jackson’s look at Finn called him crazy and Michael almost laughed. “Yes, it was fucking hard! I’ve never said those words in my life. Ever!”

That made Michael incredibly sad. Michael might not have much, but he did have love. He had his brothers.
