“And we can’t have that with you?” Michael was confused. Hadn’t they just said they loved one another?

“Having two partners will make things hard for you,” Jackson said. “You can’t tell me any different. You and Finn are perfect for each other. I’m going to mess things up.”

Then why did he even return? Michael was tired of the back and forth. He loved Jackson. He loved Finn. Why couldn’t things just be easy? “Why are you here then?” he demanded.

“Because I couldn’t leave,” Jackson replied.

Michael let go of Finn’s hand and crossed his arms over his chest. Maybe there was something to Finn’s tough love. Not for him! Michael liked being spoiled and pampered. But Jackson wasn’t him.

“This time,” Michael said sharply. “You couldn’t leave this time. What happens if we get in a fight? Are you going to leave then?”

Jackson’s eyes were huge as he stared at Michael.

“Answer him, boy,” Finn ordered.

Jackson tried to squirm in the chair but couldn’t manage much movement. He shook his head before he nodded. “Honestly? Yeah, I’ll probably fucking run again. It’s what I do!” He shouted the last words.

“Well, stop!” Michael didn’t raise his voice, but he did lean forward.

Finn patted Michael’s back…and was that pride in his eyes?

“It’s not that easy for me!” Jackson responded.

“You think this is easy for us?” Michael challenged.

“Of course not.” Jackson lowered his voice.

“Because we all have issues, Jackson,” Michael pointed out. “And I love you, but I’m not going to just sit back and let you walk all over me. I’m not going to constantly be on guard, waiting for you to leave and not come back again.” He couldn’t do it. Michael would drive himself crazy. That was no way to live.

“What do you want from me?” Jackson whispered. “I’d do anything for you. I would! But I don’t know how to make my brain stop telling me to run.”

Michael could totally work with that. “Then we’ll be louder than your brain.”

Jackson snorted. “Good luck with that.”

Finn cleared his throat. “Michael is right. That’s exactly what we’re going to do. And you’re going to learn to trust us.”

“How?” Jackson demanded. He didn’t sound as disbelieving as he did desperate. That had to be a good sign.

“We’ll figure it out,” Finn answered. “And until we do, I’ll just keep you tied up.”

Jackson’s mouth dropped open in shock.

It was actually quite cute and funny. Michael giggled.

Finn turned and winked at him. “Now, little bit. Did you bring your chest?”

Oh crap! Was it his turn? Michael nodded.

“You don’t really get to spend an extended time in your little headspace. You don’t have to, but I thought this would be a great opportunity for us to explore more of your little side. Together.”

Michael glanced at Jackson. Literally cuffed to a chair.

“Don’t worry about him,” Finn said. “I am more than capable of taking care of both of you. Jackson doesn’t have anything better to do than watch over you anyway. It’s not like he’s going anywhere.”

Jackson dropped his head back with a groan.

An hour here and there was all Michael had even gotten to spend being able to regress. When Michael regressed, he usually went hard and quickly because he knew that his responsibilities would soon yank him out of his little headspace. Was he really going to be able to completely let go? He wanted to… “Yes, I would like to be your baby now, Daddy.”
