“He friend. He loves Michael and Master Finn,” Avery told Caleb.

Caleb’s eyes widened.

Wow, okay, so Avery knew more than Jackson realized.

“Avery! Caleb!” Michael bounced to the booth. “Hey, guys. I’m so glad you came!”

“Hi!” Avery and Caleb responded together.

“Wow, Avery! I love your binkie! That is such a cute polar bear. And Caleb. Your dress! So beautiful!”

The three littles started talking fast. And loud. And did he mention fast? Jackson knew that his night wasn’t going to be boring any longer. Jackson might not be a little. Or a boy. Or a sub. But he did love being around them.

It was nice that young men like Avery and Michael still saw the best in the world. Caleb was usually quieter than the other two and there was something in his eyes that said he’d known pain, but he was still happily dancing in the booth as he spoke.

They could be happy and safe because Jackson and his crew took out the worst garbage in the world. For the first time in a long time, Jackson felt good about himself. He might be a thief. A killer. Dangerous. But he also made the world a better place.

“Hello, boys.” Master Finn walked up from behind Jackson, putting a hand on Jackson’s shoulder and an arm around Michael. “I heard you were here.”

“Daddy talk talk talk!” Avery complained.

The little guy really wanted to go into the playroom.

“I can take them,” Jackson offered. He didn’t even know why he offered. He just hated that Avery had to wait and being around Avery, Caleb, and Michael settled something inside him. Made the itchiness that had started fade away.

“Would you?” Finn asked. “Michael, go ahead and take a break and play with your friends. I’ll let Jace and Grant know that Jackson is taking you to play.”

“Yay!” Avery clapped.

“Listen to Jackson,” Finn said sternly. “Don’t leave his side.”

“K, Michael Daddy!” Avery began to push at Caleb to get out of the booth.

“Maybe we should wait,” Caleb tried.

“No! Play!” Avery demanded.

“Come on, Caleb.” Michael offered his hand. “It’ll be okay.”

“Alright.” Caleb did take Michael’s hand, but he captured Avery’s with his other. Jackson was grateful. He wouldn’t put it past little Avery to take off toward the playroom.

The three boys walked through the club hand in hand. Everyone knew who Michael was and who Michael belonged to, so they moved out of the way. Jackson kept his gaze watching their surroundings and making sure there was no trouble headed in their direction.

Thankfully, they reached the playroom without incident.

There were a couple of littles with their Daddies already in the room and a pup with his Master. That didn’t stop Avery from letting go of Caleb’s hand and racing toward the animal station. Caleb danced toward the dress-up area, exclaiming at the new additions.

“Thanks for bringing us, bubbie.” Michael kissed his cheek before running after Avery.

“No running!” Jackson ordered. He could not let any of the boys get hurt on his watch. The Daddies would never trust him again with their babies.

Huh, Jackson was being entrusted with some of the most precious boys in the club. Both Jace and Grant were known for being two of the most overprotective Daddies at the club. Michael was adored by all, so he already had many of the members that looked out for him.

Glancing over his shoulder, Jackson spotted one of the security guards posted just outside the door. Good. He could concentrate on the boys.

Avery and Michael started to build their zoo, Avery bossing Michael on where to put the enclosures. Caleb was putting sparkly boas around his neck. Jackson walked over to the bar where they kept sippy cups, bottles, and snacks for the boys and pups.

He pulled out three sippy cups and filled them with juice. Michael always got so thirsty when he played. Jackson knew Michael wasn’t wearing a diaper since he was in his work shorts and top and wondered if he’d have to take the boy to the bathroom. Surely the Daddies would be there before he had to worry about that. Right? Avery’s diaper was visible above the waist band of his shorts, but Jackson didn’t think that Caleb was wearing a diaper under that clinging dress. Jackson really didn’t know about any of that.
