“What is it?” Jackson asked. He hadn’t ordered anything. If one of his friends sent him something, they should check it for booby traps. Jackson had a lot of paybacks coming his way. He wouldn’t put it past his friends to team up against him.

“Open it and find out.” Michael poked at him. He moved around the counter onto a barstool, leaving Jackson on his own.

Jackson grunted but he would show no fear. At least, not a lot of fear. Walking around the counter, he eyed the black box with a gold bow on top.

It didn’t look dangerous.

“It won’t bite,” Finn said, amused. “I promise.”

Jackson scowled at him. Eventually he had to pick the box up though. He didn’t want Finn or Michael to think he was afraid. It had a good amount of weight for such a small gift.

“Open it!” Michael said excitedly.

It felt weird to have a present or something in his hands as Finn and Michael watched him. Not only was Jackson not used to receiving anything, but he hadn’t done anything to warrant getting something.

Finn turned off the stove before he stepped up behind Jackson. His strong fingers squeezed Jackson’s hips. Right where he’d been held down and fucked the night before. The touch gave Jackson the strength he needed. Taking a deep breath, Jackson removed the pretty gold bow.

With a smirk, he stuck it on top of Michael’s head. “So I remember to open you later too.”

Michael rolled his eyes even as his cheeks pinked.

“And by opening you, I mean—”

“He knows what you mean.” Finn stopped him. “Stop wasting time.”

Jackson huffed. With his thumbs, he flipped off the lid and looked inside the box. Sitting on rectangular velvet backing was a black pair of leather wrist cuffs with a shiny silver chain.

His breath caught.

“I’d already had these commissioned for you after we left the cabin,” Finn said. “I just needed to pick them up. I had them delivered this morning instead.”

Jackson couldn’t take his eyes off his gift. And it was totally for him. His new cuffs and a chain so he could be connected to Finn.

They were gorgeous.

His hand shook and he had to set the box down.

“You can touch them,” Finn whispered.

Jackson didn’t know if he could. They were…they were everything he wanted. Jackson was afraid to touch them and have them disappear.

“It’s okay.” Finn kissed the back of his neck before biting him. “I got you.”

The reminder helped. Jackson reached inside the box and pulled out the soft flexible leather. The new leather was firm, but it should easily conform to his wrists. The silver snaps gleamed in the soft kitchen light and the chain was heavy in his hand.

It was the best present he’d ever been given in his entire life.

“Do you like them?” Finn asked gently.

Turning, Jackson buried his face in Finn’s neck and breathed deep. Took in the scent of sweat, leather, and just the barest hint of his spicy aftershave. It lingered from the day before, but it was familiar. Finn was familiar. Finn might not be Jackson’s Daddy, or Master, or Sir, but Finn was his.

“Thank you,” Jackson murmured against Finn’s skin. The words weren’t adequate. They weren’t enough.

Even still, Finn held him tight.

“I would do anything for you,” Finn said. “You and Michael. I would burn the entire world down if it meant having you both.”

Jackson gave a watery laugh. “I’m supposed to give the villainy love speeches.”
