And I do, my entire body shakes as my orgasm ripples through me, tearing a cry from my lips.

“So tight. Fuuuck, yes, squeeze that dick,” Tyler urges, sending another set of shockwaves through me as he quickens his pace and then stills inside me, groaning through his own release.

I’m too exhausted after coming harder than I have in my whole fucking life, to do much more than roll to Margo’s side and pant like a dog.

Our hands reach until they find each other, and our fingers lock in a tight hold, our legs still tangled. We breathe hard for the next couple of minutes, staring at one another under the star-filled sky and large branches of the old oak.

“You’re staying, right?” Her voice trembles as she speaks.

My brows furrow. “Of course.” Rolling on my side to be closer, I stroke my fingertips over her jaw then cup it. “Leaving you again is not an option.”

She smiles and presses into my palm. “Good. I can’t lose you again, Ty. I just can’t.”

“I’m not going anywhere, I swear, baby. As long as you’ll have me, I’ll be right by your side.”

Her eyelids flutter and she sniffles, then she shuffles closer until our fronts are pressed together. I slide my arm under her head, and she wraps hers over my waist, and we hold each other.

“I’m never letting you go,” she whispers against my chest.

Contentment settles over us as we lie tangled in the very spot we first made love over a decade ago. But this time, I’ll be here when she wakes up in the morning, and every morning after that too.

When we pull up in the parking lot outside the motel the next morning, Leo is sitting on the bench, his legs kicked out in front of him, crossed at the ankles, a cigarette hanging from his lips.

A mischievous grin taking over his face when he spots us. “I take it things went well last night,” he says, waggling his brows.

I roll my eyes. Margo blushes.

Squeezing my arm around her shoulders, I kiss her cheek. “Don’t worry about that asshat.”

Before he can say anything else, his attention flits past us, to a woman with short brown ponytail stepping out of a Prius. His gaze is so intense, I turn to have a better look, but I don’t recognize her.

“Who’s that?” I ask him, gesturing to her with my chin as she approaches the lobby.

His gaze stays affixed on her as she steps through the entrance then disappears into a room behind the check-in desk.

Margo grins as she gives my ribs a light jab with her elbow. “That’s Tamsyn Parker. She was Leo’s math tutor, remember?”

My brows furrow. “Tamsyn? I thought that chick was going places. She was crazy smart, that’s how she got Leo’s grade average up so quickly.”

Margo’s shoulders drop, and she sighs. “Yeah, she was. But her mom got sick during her junior year of college, and she had to come home to look after her. And she still takes care of her.”

“No shit,” I murmur, taking note of how Leo’s eyes haven’t strayed from where Tamsyn disappeared a few minutes ago. “Do you think anything was going on between them?” I ask Margo, quietly.

She frowns, glancing over at Leo then back to me. “I don’t know. I didn’t think so. She never said anything when you guys left. Like, she wasn’t broken up over it like I was. Wouldn’t he have said something to you about it if there was something there?”

I shrug. “I don’t know. I was pretty messed up when we left here, I didn’t take much notice of anything else except my own misery.”

Margo rests her head on my shoulder and presses a soft kiss to my chest. “I guess we’ll find out soon enough. If Leo’s staying in town, too, that is.”

“I’m actually not sure what he’s doing. He kinda just showed up the other night, and we haven’t had a chance to talk about why yet,” I tell her as my focus goes back to my brother.

He finally looks back to Margo and me, his signature grin in place as he takes a drag from his smoke. “So, you two look cozy. I’m going to go ahead and assume you’s bumped uglies last night.”

Margo’s eyes widen and she coughs. “You’re incorrigible,” she chides. But then she smiles and drags her hand down my chest, stopping at my belt buckle. “Besides, there is nothing ugly about what Ty’s packing.” She winks at Leo and he cringes.

“Gross, I don’t want to know about my brother’s junk. Keep that shit to yourself.”

She laughs then shrugs. “You’re the one who brought up bumping uglies. I was simply correcting you.”
