Page 32 of Dangerously Safe

I can honestly say I have never seen two better-looking men in all of my life. They haven’t even touched me yet, and I can say with one hundred percent certainty my panties are already wet.

Finn’s dressed in his usual suit, but there’s a lightness about him tonight. His black suit isn’t paired with a tie tonight, and the top two buttons of his white dress shirt are undone. His hair isn’t slicked back like it usually is. Instead, it’s pushed to the side, a few strands falling ever so slightly across his forehead. I like this Finn.

Mac’s dressed in a black fitted polo that is stretched perfectly tight around his chest and biceps. He’s paired his shirt with cuffed black dress pants and shoes, and a matte black watch sits on his wrist, drawing attention to his hands. There’s something about men’s hands… I swear it’s like pornography. I’ve never seen him look so put together. He’s usually the most casual of the three, dressing in jeans or sweatpants, but not tonight. Tonight he looks like an absolute smoke show.

As I stand there admiring them in all their glory, Mac does a double take in my direction. He stands there, eyes locked with mine for a few seconds before he hits Finn in the arm.

Finn’s eyes follow Mac’s. I stand there momentarily, loving how their gaze feels like fire on my skin as they look me up and down. I let out a breath I didn’t realize I was holding and walk towards them.

“Harper…” Mac runs his hand down his face, “You look… fuck… you look fucking gorgeous.”

“You think so?” I can feel my cheeks blushing as I do a quick spin.

He grabs me by the wrist and pulls me into him. I immediately feel his erection pressing into my stomach. “Oh, I know so.” He slants his mouth over mine, and I don’t hesitate to open my mouth, letting him taste me for just a moment before Finn moves next to him.

He doesn’t pull me from Mac’s arms. Instead, he reaches down and grabs a handful of my backside before he puts his mouth to my ear and whispers, “We better leave this apartment now, or we’ll never make it.”

“Why?” I ask, momentarily confused.

He grips me harder, neither of them moving an inch. “Because I’m about five seconds away from throwing that sweet ass over my shoulder and tying you to my bed so Mac and I can fuck you until the sun comes up.” Finn practically growls in my ear.

“Oh…”

“Yeah… Oh.”

He’s probably right, we need to leave. I really want to go to the club, but I’m beyond turned on hearing him talk like that, feeling them both pressed against me.

“Come on, Princess.” Mac gives me one last quick kiss before we climb into the elevator and make our way to the car waiting out front.

* * *

The car ride over to Kings was absolute torture, in the best way possible, I mean.

If one of them rubbed their hand up my thigh, the other kissed and bit at my neck and shoulder. Neither of them would relieve the pressure between my legs, and by the time we pulled up in front of the club, I climbed out of the car, practically dripping, while these two assholes followed behind, grins as evident as their erections.

Now, I’m sitting in a private booth at the back of the club while Mac grabs us our next round of drinks and Finn checks in with the security guards. I know Finn is telling them to keep a close eye and not let anyone else near me. There is someone out there who is trying to kill me, after all.

That should be enough to make me want to hole up in the apartment, but I can’t help it. I want this night out with Finn and Mac—more than I want to be safe. But I am safe. They won’t let anything happen to me.

A few more minutes pass, and one of my favorite songs, “Needed Me” by Rihanna, starts playing throughout the club. Mac isn’t back yet and I can still see Finn talking to some of the security guards. I’m getting antsy, and I really want to dance.

Sliding out of the booth, I make my way to an empty spot on the dance floor and begin moving my hips to the beat of the music. I may be a bookworm who doesn’t go out much, but I know how to shake what my mamma gave me.

As the song blasts through the speakers, I relax and get lost in the music, thinking about nothing but how the music makes me feel and how happy I am to be here, having fun. The music changes to something slower, and I’m about to head back to the booth when I feel an arm snake around my waist. Finally, one of them found me.

I turn around to see which one of them it is, only to see a man I don’t recognize. I step out of his embrace and offer him an apologetic smile. “I’m here with someone.”

A sly smile spreads across the man’s face, and he steps toward me, grabbing my forearm. “Come on, sweetheart. Just dance to one song with me, and I promise I can make you forget who you came here with.”

I can say without a shadow of a doubt I have no interest in this man whatsoever. His black hair is slicked back and coated in so much gel that it doesn’t look like it would move if I took a leaf blower to it. His chest hair sticks out of his V-neck and is tangled in his gold chain.

This is why I never go out. Men are the worst.

“No, I’m fine. Thank you.” I remove any semblance of a smile from my face, hoping he gets it—no such luck.

He pulls me tight against his front, and I can feel his hot breath against my face, “But you are so fuckin hot. I promise I’ll show you a good time.”

I plant my hands against the man’s chest, this time shoving him away. “I said no, and I meant it… No.”
