I was irritated as hell at myself. I told myself I would stay away from her. I could not stand to see that guy with his hands on her, I wanted it so he could only touch her and play with her if I was involved.

Why? Why did I feel the need to claim her? I did not want to be near her at that moment, not when she still responded to me the way she did.

I needed to be anywhere else.

“Hi Daddy,” I heard as I got to the doorway. I turned to see a blonde I had fucked with before coming into the room with her friend. I saw Alexia as I turned, and she was watching me. Her little subs were fucking next to her, as she only watched me.

Fuck. My heart and my cock had no business being involved together.

Both the girls grazed my dick with their fingers, as I watched Alexia close her eyes. I looked down and my bracelet was green. I did not change it. Hers was red.

The next day was full of meetings, and my assistant and I had appointments to look at different developments in the area. I wanted to expand and sign on a new partner. First, I needed to build the new office they would run.

I had fifty resumes of eager investors who wanted to partner up. I was vetting each one before I called any of them to meet with me. This company was my baby, and I would not go into business with just anyone. Many are eager and young. They saw Kyle Cain as an opportunity for a piece of the pie I have spent so long building. I was a billionaire because I knew how to build, work and I was smart.

“Are you ready boss?” my assistant Nicole asked me as I stared out the window over to the club.

“I am,” I nodded, “make sure you have a binder and note pad so we can take notes to look at later.

“Got it,” she said as she held up her messenger bag.

I grabbed my suit jacket and locked up my office. We got to the elevator, and I had forgotten who we were meeting with.

“Who was it we were meeting with again?” I asked Nicole.

“Umm, oh yes, Mr. Miller,” she said as she looked down at the business card. “Let’s go see what Mr. Miller’s got for us,” I said.

The first place we went was only a mile from our current structure. This building had the same square footage, on only two levels versus the eight we have now.

I had Nicole drive us as I looked at the flyers she had brought for the other places. I really liked the look overall of the third and last one.

It was six floors of all glass; it was somewhat out of place for the area it was in. The most modern structure.

Mr. Miller met us out front as we pulled up, after brief introductions he showed us around the building. Other than a few decent offices and a courtyard, I did not feel like it was a good direction.

Nicole and I left to go to the second listing. This one was mid-city but not in the main strip like my current building. Mr. Miller left ahead of us as Nicole followed closely behind him.

My security agent called as we were driving. “Yeah,” I answered.

“He’s vetted then?”

“Okay, thank you. I will go ahead and set up a meeting with him,” I told him as I hung up the phone.

“Nicole, remind me when we get back to the office to get out the application for Bryce Stoltz. He just got cleared,” I told her. She nodded as she pulled into the parking lot of the second building behind Mr. Miller.

We stepped out in front of an eight-floor high rise. The structure is nice, with white brick. I did like the arched doorway and full glass vestibule.

Mr. Miller opened the door and let us inside. The back had full windows from floor to ceiling, unlike the brick front.

“I hope this is more your style Mr. Cain,” Mr. Miller said as I walked around with Nicole at my side.

“It does have promise,” I answered as I looked down at Nicole taking notes. There was quite a bit of office space, a reception area and lounge areas. Not much would need to be done to design what I would like for my company.

I heard clicking heels on the marble floor behind us, but I was concerned with the notes I had Nicole taking. I was looking over her shoulder, pointing out some of the office areas she was sketching out and making an inventory list of what we would need.

“Ahhh Ms. Sinclair, right on time,” I heard Mr. Miller say. I knew that name. I turned around as she walked up, and Mr. Miller was shaking her hand. Her eyes met mine, widening as she looked from me to Nicole.

“Mr. Cain, this here is Ms. Sinclair,” Mr. Miller introduced us, I reached out to shake her hand, my hand leaving the small of Nicole’s back.
