“Fuck. She scared me,” he muttered.
“Big bad Dom all frightened by a few tears,” Nico teased.
“Shall this big bad Dom put you over his knee?” Liam growled.

Liam snorted. Gradually, Lottie’s tears faded, and she sighed, leaning against him heavily.
“Baby girl?” Liam asked.
She tilted her head back to look up at him. “I really am okay. Actually, no, I’m better than that. Lighter. Freer.”
“Good.” Liam kissed her nose. “Don’t do that again.”
She smiled. “I can’t guarantee that.”
Liam let out an irritated breath.
“Poor Li,” Nico said with false sympathy. “Think how hard it is for him. Loves nothing more than punishing poor, innocent subs but he can’t handle a few tears. Hard to be him.”
“Oh, I’ve got no problem bringing you to tears,” Liam warned.
“Hey, double standards. My feelings are hurt.” Nico put his hand on his chest with a dramatic sigh.
Brat.
“Poor Nico. Such a smart mouth,” Liam said. “Always getting him into trouble.”
“But the best kind.” Nico winked at Lottie. “How about we go snuggle on the couch now?”
“What? Why?” she asked.
Nico looked up at Liam, then back at her. “You’ve just been spanked and cried your little heart out. Time for some aftercare.”
“I thought that was what this was.” She waved her hand at where they had her sandwiched between them.
