“Maybe she hurt it. Is that really what has you pacing?”
“She didn’t come to dinner.”

“It was. She had a panic when we attempted to have a picnic outside, then another as we left the house to go to the hospital. And another at the hospital.”

“You’re going to owe me, though.” He climbed off the bed and strode toward Nico. Lightly grabbing the other man around the neck, he walked him until his back hit the wall.
