Logan slowly smiled, and her eyes glistened in the low light. “I never stopped loving you, either.”

As we lay naked on my couch, wrapped in each other’s arms, her head on my chest, and my fingers lightly trailing up and down her back, I said, “I know you’re still in school, but I don’t want this to be goodbye again.”
She lifted her head and rested her chin on my chest. “I don’t either.”
“Good.” I kissed her softly. “Now I just need to figure out how to tell my boss that one day I’m going to marry his daughter.”
