“Can everyone please enter the reception area so we can introduce the bridal parties and begin the festivities!”
We both laugh under our breath as we hear the muffled voice through the microphone call for us. I fix my dress as best I can while Max takes off the condom, pulls up his pants, and fastens his belt. When we’re both situated, he pulls me into him, smiles on both of our faces as he leans down for a kiss. I think we both mean for it to be small, but it quickly turns into a kiss that I know I don’t want to end.
“Andrea Casey, please report to the entryway for the introduction of the bridal party.”
We laugh as we slowly pull apart.
“Save me a dance?”
I smile up at him, and it’s returned by the smile I’ve now learned is the real Max Beauregard. It’s a smile I want to see every day. “I thought you didn’t dance.”
I give him a pat on the chest and one more gentle kiss on the corner of his mouth. “I didn’t. But now I have a feeling I have the right partner.”
