Well, shit.

Fuck if it isn’t true.
When my life was good, damn, it was beautiful.
I had football.
Love.
Family… sort of. I had a mom who would have walked to the ends of the earth to make me happy, even if she wasn’t my own biological mother.
All the things a girl from the south holds near and dear were well within my reach. Even the star wide receiver was mine, but we’ll get to that part later…
When the hail started falling, my world turned to ice.
Trauma.
Pain.
Avoidance.
Grief…
Whatever it’s called, it changed me in every way possible.
The way I looked.
