Her shoulders drop, and she lets out a groan. “I know.”

“Hey. There are going to be lots of times you’ll get to be Little. We just need to juggle it a bit. Don’t worry. We’ll make it work. Daddy will make sure you get plenty of playtime. Okay?”

She hesitates for a few seconds before she nods and goes back to her pile of dolls. I’m worried she’s having doubts. That she’s afraid I might hurt her again. I know it’s my fault if that’s the case. I lied to her and broke her heart twenty years ago. It’s fair for her to be skittish. I hate it. But it’s fair.

When the alarm on my phone goes off, she looks up at me with big sad eyes.

“I know, baby girl. It sucks. But tomorrow you’re going to get to play with your friends for a good part of the day.”

When she glances down at the baby doll she’s holding, my heart squeezes. It’s hard not being able to be Little whenever you want. Hell, it’s hard for me not being able to be a Daddy whenever I want. There has to be a workaround though. So she can feel my Daddy presence even when we’re around her mom or others, so she can feel Little without anyone else knowing.

“Hey, why don’t you take that baby back home with you? You can keep her in your room, so even if you only get a few minutes alone, you can sneak in some playtime.”

The sparkle in her eyes returns, and a slow smile spreads. “Really?”

“Of course. Just because you have to be a big girl outside of your bedroom doesn’t mean you can’t be Little the second you go in there.”

She chews on her bottom lip as she ponders it. “Okay, Daddy. I’d like that.”

“Come here, baby girl. Crawl to me.”

Her eyes widen as she looks at the distance between us, and then she leans down onto her hands and raises her bottom in the air. My cock throbs as she crawls across the living room floor. This woman could not be any more perfect for me. I’m obsessed. More than I was twenty years ago.

When she moves between my legs, she sits back on her heels and rests her arms on my thighs. Then she looks up at me, and I think I should be the one on my knees, worshipping the very fucking ground she walks on. I’m going to marry this woman. Hopefully, one day very soon. I don’t need to date her to know we’re meant to be. I was too fucking dumb to realize it sooner.

“So I’ve been thinking of some different ways for us to still feel our dynamic during the times we can’t really live it. The times when we’re around your mom or other people who aren’t into the lifestyle. You having toys in your room was one of those ideas. Here’s another. I want you to text me a picture of your meals if I’m not with you so I can be sure you’re eating regularly. I have a few other thoughts too.”

Her eyebrows furrow as she soaks in what I’m saying. “Like ways to be Daddy and Little that are subtle?”

I nod. “Exactly. So tonight, I want you to wear a pair of training panties when you go out. You can dress like a big girl for everyone else to see, but I want you to have a small reminder underneath that you’re just a Little girl. Any objections?”

She shifts slightly, and I wonder if the idea I put into her head is making her body react. I hope it is. I take our dynamic seriously, but I still want it to be fun and exciting.

“What if someone notices them?”

“If someone notices, I’ll kill them because it means they were too close to you.”

When she giggles, I raise my eyebrows. “Daddy isn’t kidding. You’re mine, baby. I’m the only one who gets to see what you’re wearing under your clothes.”

“Okay, okay. No need to go to jail, Daddy.”

“So, what do you say? Are you okay with Daddy forcing you to wear your Little girl panties to the bar?”

She bobs her head. “Yes.”

“Good girl.”

Austin, Asher, Link, and Gage are all crowded around my dining table with beers and snacks. Jaxon has been glued to his phone since he got here, tracking where Leah is to make sure she gets the five blocks from their house to the bar safely. A few months ago, I probably would have made fun of him for it. But now, I’m hovering over his shoulder, watching too. Leah followed Jaxon over here and picked up Summer from her house. I don’t know about Jaxon, but I don’t like the idea of the women driving in the dark. Of course, they’re completely capable, but the Daddy side of me still hates the thought. I should have offered to drive her. I didn’t want to overstep, though.

“Look at these fucking guys. They’re practically foaming at the mouth worrying about their women,” Asher says.

Jaxon and I don’t look up as we both flip him the bird.

When the GPS shows them at the bar, Jaxon lets out a sigh and sits down at the table with a beer. I grab one for myself and lean against the counter while Linc shuffles the cards.

Cole and Silas walk in a few minutes later.

“Look who we found outside,” Cole says with a smirk.
