“I’m here, baby. Daddy’s here. Let it out.”

Even though I’ve been crying non-stop for the past five days, I seem to have endless tears as I let go in his arms. He rocks me, and after a while, he starts to hum.

It’s soothing, and it doesn’t take long before my crying slows, and my eyes feel too heavy to keep open any longer.

When I wake, I’m still in the exact same place. In Dane’s arms. He’s staring down at me with a smile.

“You were my tired girl.”

I nod. My mouth is dry, and I have a slight headache. “I haven’t been sleeping well.”

He doesn’t say anything, so I take the moment to look around the room. It looks like a Little girl’s room. Bookshelves and toys and adorable decorations. There’s a twin bed with twinkle lights dangling over it. Almost everything is a pastel pink with white accents. It’s beautiful and everything I’ve ever dreamed of.

“You did this for me?”

“I’d do anything for you, Summer. I love you.”

“I love you too.”

His expression relaxes, and I wonder if he was worried I didn’t love him. How could I not?

“Are you sure you want this?” I ask.

He rises and sets me on my feet. Then, slowly, he lowers himself down to one knee and pulls a small box from his pocket.

“I’ve never been so sure of anything in my life. I’ve always loved you, but I thought I wasn’t good enough for you. I still don’t think I’m good enough for you, but I want to spend every single day of the rest of my life trying to be. I love you, Summer. I want to be your husband. I want everything with you. So, I have an important question, and as a prerequisite, the only acceptable answer is yes.”

I giggle as tears drip down my face. He opens the box and smiles up at me.

“Summer Pierce, my sweet, beautiful Little girl. Will you please be my wife?”

I nod hard because the lump in my throat is too big to speak, so the only noise that comes out is a sob as I throw myself at him. He catches me, but we both go tumbling to the ground.

He pulls the simple solitaire from the box and slides it onto my finger. “If you try to break up with me again, you won’t sit for a week. Understood?”

“Yes.”

When he flexes his hips, his cock presses against my core.

“Yes, Daddy,” he says as he reaches up and tweaks my nipples through my shirt.

A whimper escapes, and I grind my hips against his length. “Yes, Daddy.”

“Let’s go to our room. I want to spread you out on the bed and take my time with you.”

He doesn’t have to ask me twice. As soon as I’m on my feet, I take off with him following right on my heels.

DANE

Two weeks later…

I haven’t stopped smiling since I proposed to Summer. It’s been a whirlwind since then. We’ve almost got them all moved into my house, and Mrs. Pierce seems to be settling in well.

We hired two nurses. One comes in during the week while we’re at work, and the other comes over on the weekends so we can run errands or have some alone time. Both of them seem wonderful, and I’ve noticed a huge change in Summer since she’s gotten the added help. She’s more relaxed. Less anxious.

It's possible that regressing her into her smaller headspace each night at bedtime has helped too. We’re still trying to figure out how to make things work, but it’s been smooth so far. I put her in training panties as soon as we get home in the evenings, and I plate up her dinner and cut it all up for her. They’re small things but they seem to give her the feeling of being taken care of while she’s still in her bigger headspace.
