I may have cooked up every breakfast item we had in the house. I heard Orion and our mate stir in the bedroom, poured two cups of coffee for them, and took out the creamer. It sounded like they showered together, and I groaned. That was an opportunity I would make sure not to miss again.

Druscilla walked in, and I didn’t know what to expect. A part of me thought last night was a fluke. That this morning, she might’ve changed her mind.

I braced myself for the worst but bet on the best.

“Good morning.” Druscilla’s tone washed away all my worst fears. I turned to face her, but she wrapped her arms around my waist and pressed her face against my bare back.

“Good morning, mate.” I turned and lifted her by the waist, sitting her on the counter. “How did you sleep?”

She took the coffee from me. “I don’t think there was a lot of sleeping last night. Maybe napping in between would be a better way to put it.”

I pulled her forward, cupping her ass, and kissed her until she moaned.

“Can I get coffee, or are you two going to have a different kind of breakfast?” Orion came in and reached across Dru, getting his cup. They kissed right in front of me, and no matter how many times it had happened the night before, somehow it still surprised me that there wasn’t a hint of jealousy between us.

We were sharing love. Period.

“I’m having food. First, because it smells incredible and second, because I’m starving.”

I grabbed her up and seated her at the table and insisted on making her a plate. I refreshed her coffee and put the creamer on the table so she could massacre her caffeine with sugar.

“Is this a shifter thing, or are you two the sweetest men on the planet?” she asked, drizzling honey all over her oat pancakes.

“What?” Orion asked. He filled his plate and then I did the same. “Making you breakfast?”

She nodded. “Yes. The breakfast. The food. Making sure I have everything and all my needs are taken care of. All of them.”

Well, didn’t that stroke a male’s ego.

“It’s because you are our mate. Our priority is you and your needs. We will always provide for you in a variety of ways. Our beasts let us know what those needs are. We can tell if you are hungry, thirsty, angry…” I said.

“Horny,” Orion added, chuckling.

“Wow.” She sank into her chair, that blazing rose marring her cheeks. “That’s not embarrassing.”

“It’s not.” Orion took her hand. “It’s part of the mating. We can’t make sure you’re taken care of if we don’t know. This makes it very easy for us.” He pointed to his nose.

She soon returned to eating and finished two helpings of food. She made a move to go get dressed, saying that she wanted to document some things, but we had one more surprise for her. Well, I did. I knew that Orion wouldn’t be opposed.

“If you had pictures of actually Bigfoot shifters, would that help your book?”

She stopped in her tracks, her back to us. “Yes, but no.”

“Explain, please.” Orion got up and we walked over to her. “Because we decided we’re okay with it.”

“Yes, it would help my book, but no, I won’t let you do it. Just because we are mated doesn’t mean I get to take advantage of our bond. No way.”

This female. She was loyal and trustworthy, more than anyone I’d ever known, with the exception of Orion. “It’s not taking advantage if we are offering. Here’s my proposal. We shift. We go out in the woods where the area is generalized. You take pictures of us from afar. Close enough so that they can’t be debunked and far enough so that our home can’t be recognized.”

“Our home?” she questioned. This woman. Didn’t she know that everything we had belonged to her?

“Yes. This is our home now,” Orion said.

She was silent for a few seconds. “All three of us have to approve the photos first.”

“Done.”
