“The next is Jonathan Mires. He’s 6’2 with the most stunning green eyes I’ve ever seen pair quite wonderfully with his curly red hair. He’s a famous actor, and being with him shows me a glimpse of the celebrity lifestyle."

"We enjoy the same movies, which was how we met in the first place," she smiles fondly. “He disguised himself to go see a movie in the cinema. There weren’t many people in the cinema and few enjoyed the movie but we did.”

“Nothing to say about his dick size?” I ask sarcastically and watch as she throws her head back in laughter.

“Did I hurt your feelings?” she asks, her fingers grazing mine for a second before she pulls away. “Anyway, Jonathan has the most handsome face of all the men in my life, which is not surprising when you think of his profession.”

I bat away thoughts of the actor. There’s not a chance he could ever be a competition.

“Oh, and we can't forget about Miles Elrod.” She grins as she speaks of him.

I guess this is my true competition. I lean in closer, fixated on her every word as she speaks.

“His face and personality are such a huge contrast to his imposing frame. He has the warmest brown eyes and dark curly hair I always want to play with.” She clears her throat when she realizes she’s getting carried away.

“He also happens to plan the best dates. He’s not a fan of restaurant dates but, instead, prefers taking me out for fun activities, always energizing me when we’re done. So, that’s all of them,” she says, exhaling.

I contemplate her words. All the guys appear to be pretty up there. They seem to have money and are good-looking based on her descriptions. They all have things she likes about them.

My mind begins to come up with likely ways to carry out my plan, which I fully intend to make good on.

“Alright then, thanks for telling me,” I say positively.

“You’re still looking for ways to beat them in this little game that’s in your head and win, aren’t you?” Her eyes are slits as they glare at me suspiciously.

“Is that obvious?” I reply, playing coy.

“You didn’t need to say it. It’s on your face.”

“Okay, but you can’t tell me I don’t have this Reese guy beat,” I say competitively. “This is the finest restaurant.”

She sighs and nods. “Okay, I suppose in a way, you do have Reese beat but only because of the restaurant,” she admits.

“Of course. So, it’s not far-fetched to assume I’m going to beat them in everything you consider good about them,” I say smugly.

“This is just what I mean. You’re so cocky, and just because you’re so cocky, you’re already losing so many points to the rest of them, making them win,” she says, looking annoyed.

“Okay, but it doesn’t change the fact I’m winning. If I can win, while you’ll be upset at first, you’ll eventually fall for my charms.”

She gives me a death stare, and I laugh. Her angry face is absolutely adorable. She quickly hides a small smile before looking away.

Dessert arrives and we dig in, moving on to lighter conversations surrounding her friend group and how much she’s missed then, especially since they’re the only people she’s kept in her life longer than usual.

The car ride to her home leaves me very aware of her. I want to take her back to the hotel with me, but I refrain.

“That’s it?” she turns to me in the passenger seat when I drop her home.

“Were you expecting more?” I ask her, amused.

“I-you,” she stops with a frown.

I lean closer to her, my lips stopping just shy of hers, breath mingling with hers. “I want you more than I want to breathe, Kelly.”

I pull back, exhaling deeply as I close my eyes to control myself. “But I’m serious about wanting to date you so we won’t be having sex, not so soon anyway.”

She looked very flustered. “Alright then, goodnight.”

She gets out of the car, gently closing the door, and I watch the sway of her hips and the jiggle of her perky bum as she walks off. I let out a groan.
