Niko shifts back and reaches for his clothes.
“That was really cool. Thanks for showing me,” I tell him.
“Anytime, mate.”
He finishes dressing and I head inside with him right behind me. The cabin is cold, and I head to the fireplace. I grab a log, but Niko takes it from me and starts to build us a fire.
“It gets so cold here,” I say, stepping closer to the flames.
“Come here,” he says, leading me over to the couch.
He pulls me down next to him and then throws a blanket over both of us. He’s so warm, and I snuggle closer to him, trying to warm up. My head is resting on his chest and my hand is dangerously low on his stomach. I should probably move it, but I don’t want to.
Part of me wants to be his. I trust him to take care of me, to not hurt me. Am I ready for something physical though?
My hand drifts lower and I cuddle closer to him, one of my legs going over his. He stiffens next to me, and for a moment, I’m worried that I did something wrong.
