The closet is insane. It has a giant island in the middle with a leather couch in the corner. Rows and rows of expensive tailored suits line one wall. Two other walls are floor-to-ceiling shelves of every kind of shoe and boot imaginable. It looks like a library, but instead of books, it’s finely crafted Italian leather footwear.

Everything is lit up with warm lighting against the rich mahogany tones of the wood. I might have to get a closet just like it when I move here.

“Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god,” Alina says as she whips her head from side to side taking it all in with an adorable look of awe on her face.

Something occurs to me as I watch her—I’ve never been this happy. Even as a rookie, when I first signed with the Miami Eels. I was excited, but also extremely nervous. I didn’t know what to expect.

Now, I’m well past all that. I know what to expect with the game, but it’s my personal life that I’m more unsure of this time around. What does the future hold for me and Alina?

I want it all. Marriage, kids, a house full of love to come home to.

That’s what I’ve wanted all along, I was just too stupid to realize it. I didn’t realize what I was running from. My days of debauchery are over. My days of being a respectable man Alina can be proud of have begun.

“Look at these amazing drawers for his watch collection,” she says to herself as she touches a button and they silently glide open. “Oh, wow, look at these hinges. I wonder who their supplier is.”

“You’re going to come with me, right?”

Her body stiffens. My pulse races.

She slowly stands up and turns around, looking at me with her breath caught in her chest. “What?”

“I don’t want to do this without you.”

Her mouth opens, but she doesn’t say anything.

“I don’t want to move to San Antonio without you, I don’t want to live without you, and I don’t want to take one more breath without you. I want you to be my girl, Alina. Officially. Not for pretend. I’m in love with you. I think I always have been.”

She trembles lightly as she stares at me with wide eyes.

“I know it’s only been one night, but?—”

“It hasn’t only been one night,” she says as she takes a deep breath. “I’ve been in love with you since the second grade, Sebastian. I’ve always wanted to be your girl.”

“You’re my girl now,” I say in a firm possessive tone. “And you always will be.”

The air in this massive closet turns heated as we stare at each other like two hungry lions eying a juicy pork chop.

She licks her lips. I growl. And then we explode forward, crashing into each other’s arms in a desperate passion. Our mouths connect. My hands go on her, sliding up her neck and sinking into her hair. All of her braids and curls come tumbling down in a mess from my demanding hands as I kiss her so hard she’s never going to forget that she belongs to me.

The sultry taste of her mouth and the tantalizing feel of her supple body against mine is making me rock hard. She whimpers in my mouth when she feels my erection digging into her stomach.

“Sebastian,” she says in a breathless voice between kisses.

I’m hoping she’s not going to ask me to stop. I can’t go another minute without her body.

“I waited for you,” she says as she looks up at me with those big beautiful hazel eyes, quick little breaths coming out of her wet lips.

Her words hit me hard. My knees nearly buckle.

“You’re a… virgin?”

She nods her head as she gazes into my eyes. “I only wanted you.”

I crush my lips to hers, kissing her like I’ve never kissed anyone before. I take her breath. I taste her innocence.

We shouldn’t be doing this here.

It’s too risky. I just signed a huge contract and promised to be good. If my new boss comes in and sees me naked in his closet, he might rip it to pieces.
