“I know. We can train here. If you’ll let me, I’d like to buy some gym equipment and maybe put it at the Ice Park. We can use it for now, and if you want after that, you can let other skaters use it. I know you don’t have much there for competitions. This could be a start. And I don’t want to hear anything about me buying you stuff. It’s not for you. It’s for us to use in our training. Then, if you want to be all prideful about it, you can pay me back for it or something, even though that’s not something I want. No interest if you do that, though, Belle. I don’t want to hear anything about it.”

Belle smiled at her and said, “No interest. Got it.”

“So, you’ll do it? You’ll skate with me one more time?”

“I’ll skate with you one more time in competition, but I’ll skate with you every morning and night if you want,” she replied, and her hands slid under Chandler’s shirt, covering her back. “I’m proud of you. Is that weird to say to your girlfriend?”

“No,” Chandler replied. “I’m a little proud of me, too. Oh, I’m staying here. You got that part, right? I didn’t book a hotel room.”

Belle laughed and said, “Yeah, I kind of figured that part out when you wheeled your giant roller bag in here.”

“There’s more.”

“More what?”

“Stuff. My skating stuff, and other bags. It’s outside. This was all I could get up the stairs. But the driver probably carried the other stuff up, and I bet it’s sitting outside the door now, so we should probably grab it.”

“How much stuff are we talking about, exactly?”

“Come on; pretend like you didn’t know who you were dating.” Chandler winked at her.

Belle let her go, pulled open the door, and found three bags as well as a hanging bag with some of Chandler’s costumes inside it.

“I have a designer working on our costumes for nationals. I had your sizes, so I just got her started.”

“Wait… You just assumed I’d say yes?” Belle dragged the last bag inside and closed the door, locking up after.

“Yes. But in my defense, we don’t have much time, so I needed to get her started. And if you said no, I’d just tell her to stop.”

“What are you making me wear, exactly?”

“You’re going to like this one.” Chandler pulled Belle in by the waistband. “It’s pants. Don’t worry.”

Belle smiled at her and said, “Speaking of pants…” She looked down at Chandler’s belt and gave it a tug with her index finger.

“Really?” Chandler asked, hopeful.

“Yeah, really. You’re here. I’m here. I missed you. You missed me… God, I didn’t think I was going to see you for months.” She lifted Chandler’s shirt off and tossed it to the floor.

“Um… That’s a designer shirt. Maybe we just–”

“Nope.” Belle kissed her before Chandler could bend over to pick it up. “Bed.”

Chandler laughed as Belle kissed her neck and walked her backward toward the bedroom and up against the bed.

“You really missed me,” Chandler noted when Belle pulled off her belt.

“For a long time, actually,” Belle replied.

Chandler stared into her blue eyes and cupped her cheek.

“For me, too. Do you think if we would’ve gotten together at fourteen, we still would’ve ended up here, though?”

“What did you come up with in all those scenarios you ran in your head?” Belle asked as she undid Chandler’s button.

“That you were really good in bed.”

Belle chuckled and asked, “That’s all?”
