“At the same time?” Leo asked, remembering them all in that kitchen.

“No, at different times, but they all admitted to it one morning,” Jonas said, chuckling.

“It’s those morning meetings where everything usually happens. I wish I could go,” Harrison said, and they all agreed. It seemed being invited wasn’t going to happen again for Leo.

“Sorry, guys, Harper barely came.” A blond pulled up a chair next to the table. “Kaine Hawthorn, married to Harper.”

“Leo Montgomery.”

“Montgomery?” Kaine asked.

“Yes.” Leo looked at him, wondering if they had meet before.

“So, she’s going to be Lucy Maud Montgomery Montgomery?” Kaine asked, grinning.

“I think she should be Lucy Maud Montgomery Lovely Montgomery,” Cliff replied with a laugh.

“I don’t know if she’s decided what her name is going to be,” Leo said. They hadn’t discussed it since she agreed to marry him.

“Is she going to stay working for you?” Kaine took a sip of his beer that hid his smirk.

“Yes, she is. Until she can’t anymore.”

“Can’t anymore?” Cliff picked up on the comment. “Is she getting a different job? Or are we talking little Lucys running around?”

“That’s up to her,” Leo mumbled. He’d have to hold his cards closer; these guys were listening.

“You had better get to work, Cliff. Maby will be pissed if Lucy has a kid before her.” Jonas laughed at the happy guy despite being put on the spot.

“Nope, she will be pissed if I knock her up before she gets her doctorate. Kaine is the one who should be feeling the pressure. Harper is the oldest,” Cliff shot at his brother-in-law.

“No pressure, gentlemen. I’m just enjoying my gorgeous wife for a while before I share her with our children. And her business has her swamped right now.” Kaine grinned.

“I’m still enjoying my gorgeous wife and loving that she’s carrying my kid,” Jonas stated.

“You mean your spawn? As she lovingly calls it.” Harrison pointed out.

“She has a way with words, that one.” Cliff laughed.

“Because she’s a reporter, men,” Jonas stated, which caused more than half of the men at the table to groan.

As they chatted about Bea being a reporter, he looked at the men who just yesterday, he thought had married gold-diggers. If they had, they were all enjoying the experience. More than enjoying it actually, based on their grins.

“Buzz!” Cliff yelled from his spot next to Leo, focusing Leo’s attention on the door.

The redhead in question just gave him the middle finger, two in fact. Sera and Harper came in behind her. Each were pissed, then happy to see their spouses at the bar, waiting for them. It seemed the men being there was a surprise.

“You are a jerk, Cliff,” Bea said as she approached the table, only to sit on her husband’s lap.

“Me?” Cliff played the innocent.

“You weren’t supposed to wear the shirt! Mom said so.” Bea pointed to his chest.

“Mom has no control over me. And my wife dressed me today,” he argued. “And you are definitely wearing a shirt under that jacket.”

“No, I’m not,” Bea said, but she couldn’t hold back her smile.

“You are such a bad liar.” Cliff leaned back and watched the door.
