“So,” I said as I cut into my ribeye, “are we staying here because it’s close to your work?”

“You didn’t take the week off?”
“I did, but that means I probably won’t get called in. We’re monitoring a few situations, so I might get called in for a meeting or two. Not likely, but it’s possible.”
“So I can know where you work but not where you live?”
Rachel gave me a bit of side-eye. “You know better than to ask that question.”
I grinned. “Can I finally get a phone number to call you?”
“If you’re good.”
I laughed. “Giving you – what was it, a dozen orgasms over the last two hours – ”
“I lost count after a dozen.”
“That’s not good enough?”
She gave me a smile that was both impish and alluring. “It’s a good start.”

Rachel had been right, though. As endlessly enthralling as sex with her was, cabin fever set in around day three. I finally gave in and said I’d like to take a walk. “Maybe you could show me around the neighborhood.”
“There’s not much here. Let’s go to one of the nearby parks instead.”

After we showered and dressed, we took a taxi to St. James’s Park. It was across the Thames River, right next to Buckingham Palace.
