I smirk as I watch Breaker grind his teeth. Quinn, the woman he loves, is running around with his son Noah, ignoring him. He started seeing his son's teacher a few months ago but his ex, who is a club whore, who purposely got herself pregnant, hoping for a patch she didn't get, had decided to cause some shit.
Quinn left him and ended things and now, he's determined to win her back, but she's making him work for it.
In her defense, she found him in bed with his baby momma, naked. It doesn't matter if he said nothing happened; he had a fucking condom on. So, for her, it looked bad, and her brother agreed when he punched Breaker in the face.
He’s our new mechanic and a prospect.
I shake my head as he growls when a prospect hands her a bottle of water, his eyes eating her up in the light pink summer dress.
I chuckle, saying, "Brother, cool it. "
He glares at me. "I fucking can't. The only reason why she's here is because of Liv. She won't hear me out even after I showed her the proof. Said something along the lines of too much fucking drama, and how that’s unfair to Noah."
I nod, understanding where she’s coming from.
I state, "But while you have Suzy, who, by the way, is heading over for the fifth time this afternoon, brushing her tits up against you, and you not pushing her away, why would she give you a chance?"
He furrows his brows before looking to his right, then toward Quinn, whose eyes shine with unshed tears as Suzy grips his arm. He curses and Suzy furrows her brows.
Uncaring that there are kids in the room, she says, "Seriously, Breaker? You let me suck you off yesterday, so what is your problem now?"
I look at him with wide eyes as he freezes, and Quinn's face falls. There’s defeat…and acceptance in her eyes. Fuck. She’s done with him.
Ah shit.
Breaker's face reddens, seeing her expression, as Suzy clutches his arm in confusion, which, let's face it, is fake. She knows exactly what she's doing.
I raise a disappointed brow at him, and he runs a hand through his hair, still not pushing her away like an idiot.
He mutters, "It was a mistake…" causing Suzy to scoff.
"A mistake? You let me blow you, then you got me off with your mouth. How is that a mistake?"
He flinches, and I just shake my head at him because…what the actual fuck?
It's been a week since she caught him in bed with his ex, and now, well, she's going to believe he did fuck her and the footage is fake, and it's his own fault.
I look toward Quinn, but she's not standing where she was. I stiffen, causing Breaker to look as well. He curses and looks around the room.
Noah runs over with a grin, oblivious to the situation. "Hey, Daddy, Quinn had to leave. Can I go outside and play with April?"
Breaker freezes up, and I clear my throat, noting the time, and answering, "Actually, bud, could you convince Little Red to come inside to get ready for her momma's surprise?"
He grins wide and nods before running off. I look back at Breaker, who has finally pushed Suzy off him as he scowls at her.
"We both know I was drunk, Suzy. You knew exactly what you were doing just then. Do me a favor and fuck off!"
Her face goes red before she stomps her high-heeled foot in a tantrum then turns and walks away as his tortured eyes return to mine.
I just shake my head, and give him some home truths. "You've lost her, brother."
He shakes his head, but I squeeze his shoulder. "I'm sorry, brother, but you have. You've just committed the biggest sin against her. Move on, brother, and hope her brother Jack doesn’t kill you. Prospect or not, that’s his little sister."
His breathing picks up, and I squeeze his shoulder again before the door to the clubhouse opens. I grin, seeing my girl walk in with her mom and mine. They've all bonded in the past few weeks while helping my girl, and it's fucking awesome to see.
Breaker gets my attention when he nudges me. He slightly smiles, "I'll win her back, brother. Now go finally make that woman yours."
I sigh as he walks over to Snake, his shoulders hunched, and my heart hurts for him. He may say he'll win her back, but what he did with Suzy after Quinn had not long found him in bed with his ex…. He'll be lucky if she even looks his way again.
