Nerves pinch my stomach all over again as I take in the sheer number of people. Faces blur together. But I see Beth, Mathias, Stefan, Harry and the twins. Their faces calm me down enough to find other faces in the crowd that help me feel more relaxed. Until I find my pack.

My breath catches in my throat as I look at them. Standing at the end of the aisle, all five of them, looking handsome as hell in their suits. Even Ford is wearing a beautiful navy blue that makes his green eyes stand out.

The conversation hushes as I step to the center aisle, eyes falling to me, but I don’t take my gaze off the men in front of me. I feel Sadie and Sorrel fall in behind my back to flank me, as I walk with confident steps toward my pack.

I can feel them through the bond, feel their love and approval, their awe as I sweep toward them in my floor-length gown. I’d wanted something black, my comfort color, but Sadie and Sorrel vetoed that idea.

“This is a celebration, Vee. Not a funeral.”

“Black doesn’t have to be maudlin, Sade.”

“Think of this as your wedding dress, Sylvie. Don’t you want to look happy?”

“I’ll look happy no matter what. Because I am ecstatically, blissfully happy.”

“Ew. You’re so in love it’s sickening.”

I hate to admit it, but I think this cream-colored gown was the way to go. My pack can’t keep their eyes off me as I move up the aisle.

Davis is the first to move, meeting me a quarter of the way, sweeping me into his arms and kissing me hard. “So fucking beautiful,” he murmurs against my mouth.

“Get a room,” Sadie coughs and Davis grins.

“Plan to, as soon as this is over, Sade.” He winks at her while she scowls. There’s a growl from somewhere in the crowd and the grin immediately fades from Davis’s face, while Sadie’s lips curl into one so wicked, I’m a little scared.

“Don’t flirt with me in front of my pack, Werth,” Sadie preens. “They don’t fucking like it.”

Davis’s mouth falls open. “I wasn’t- I would never- I love Sylvie. You know that.”

Taking pity on my alpha, I pat his chest. “Should we keep going?”

He looks down at me with blue-gray eyes and the panic he’d been feeling fades. “Yes,” he breathes. “Lets.”

In the next moment, I’m in his arms and he’s rushing the rest of the way down the aisle while the crowd murmurs and coos, and I giggle. I could demand that he put me down, but why would I?

Hands reach to steady me as he sets me down, and then I’m grabbed and pulled into Ford’s maple bacon scent. His arms wrap around me, holding me close. And then all of them close ranks around me and I take a deep breath, bringing the scent of my favorite brunch into my lungs.

“Gorgeous, baby,” Topher murmurs against the side of my head.

“I love this dress.” Ford’ hands tighten on my hips, the fabric slipping under his palms. “But I think it’ll look better on the floor of your nest.”

I laugh, tipping my head back to press a kiss to his jaw. “So fucking cheesy.”

He smiles down at me. “You love it.”

“I love you,” I correct. “Which I suppose means I love the cheesy lines you use.”

Asher laces his fingers with mine. “You ready, angel?”

I swallow before I nod. “Yes. Let’s do this.”

Jackson runs a knuckle down my cheek before we all shuffle around, turning to step behind the table set up covered in gauzy fabric and flowers, and facing the crowd.

Jackson takes up the place on my right with Topher next to him, while Davis stands on my left with Asher on his other side. Ford stands behind me. Making me the center of their pack, or their world.

Jackson smiles out at everyone watching, expectantly. “Hello, and thank you for joining us today.” He reaches down and laces his fingers with mine. “We’ve been waiting for this day for twelve years. Ever since we first met Sylvie Grace Benson.” He lifts my hand and brushes a kiss over my knuckles. “Many of you know we’re technically already a pack. We’ve signed the paperwork-”

“Formed our bonds,” Davis cuts in with an eyebrow waggle, making my cheeks flush. Yes. Everyone knows what has to happen for a bond to take place and stick. But it doesn’t mean I want everyone thinking about all of them knotting me, biting me.
