“Watch the eye-rolling, boy,” Theo warned him, arching a brow. “Now tuck your shirt in and then sit your ass at that table.”

Danny grinned and rolled his eyes again. He jumped out of the way of Theo’s hand this time with a laugh. “Okay. Okay. Jeez, you’re testy in the mornings.”

“I’m only testy because you’re testing me,” Theo told him. He walked over to the coffee maker and began making another cup of coffee. By the time I had all the plates made, Danny was sitting beside Noah, and Theo was sitting across from him. I set everyone’s plates in front of them before taking the last seat beside Theo.

“So, about last night…” Danny began. Noah flushed and ducked his head. I leaned back in my seat, getting comfortable. I had a feeling one of them was going to have questions, but I should’ve betted on Danny being the one to voice his questions and concerns. Noah was too nervous and anxious to ever do so on his own.

“What about last night?” I asked him.

He leaned back in his chair as well, and I watched as he reached over and grabbed Noah’s hand in his. “Noah’s got some concerns,” Danny began.

“You overthink too much, baby,” Theo told him. Noah glanced up at my brother from beneath his lashes before avoiding our gazes again. “Last night is what you can expect a lot of. The three of us loving you in our own ways and what feels good to do at that point in time.”

“It’s confusing,” Noah mumbled, looking down at his lap.

Danny sighed. “No, it’s really not. You’re just thinking too much.” Danny tipped his chin up so Noah was forced to look up at him. “Just be, Noah. Live in the moment, baby. I love you; I’ve always loved you. You know that. And Thomas and Theo want the opportunity to love you, too.”

“But what about you?” Noah asked him, searching Danny’s face for a sign he might lie to him.

A cocky grin tilted Danny’s lips. “Theo is taking very good care of me, baby.” I chuckled. “Don’t worry about me. As long as I’ve got you, I’m okay.”

“Theo and I will make sure Danny always has what he needs,” I assured Noah. Danny released him so Noah could look at me. I beckoned my boy to me with one finger. Slowly, he stood from his chair and walked around the table to me. I settled him on my lap and carded my fingers through his dark, curly strands. He closed his eyes, sinking into me. “Just do as Danny said. Just be, Noah baby.”

“That’s not easy for me,” Noah told me, his fingers playing with my tie.

Theo gripped his chin and turned his head so they were looking at each other. I curled my hands around Noah’s slim waist. Chancing a glance at Danny, I saw he was watching the two of them with a small smile on his face.

Fuck, Danny was just as perfect for us as Noah was.

“We’ll make it easy for you—so easy that soon, you won’t have any reason to doubt what the four of us have, you hear me?”

Noah nodded. Theo pressed a quick kiss to his lips. “Finish your breakfast. We need to leave soon.”

I dragged his plate over to me, and with Noah resting on my lap, I fed him his food while Danny and Theo worked on cleaning up.

“I’m hiring you a fucking cleaning service,” Theo griped as he began drying the dishes Danny washed.

Danny snickered. “I’d be lazy as hell if you did that.”

Theo smacked him with the drying towel he was holding, making Danny yelp. Noah quietly laughed. “I’m glad he’s found someone to be like that with,” Noah said quietly.

I pressed a kiss to his forehead. “Like I said, we’ll make sure Danny gets what he needs.”

Surprising me once again this morning, Noah turned his head and pressed a kiss to my Adam’s apple. I swallowed thickly and looked down at him. A soft sigh left my lungs.

“I love you,” I whispered. “I don’t think you realize how much I do, though.”

Noah’s cheeks warmed to a pretty red color, and his eyes brightened. My heart squeezed in my chest. I loved him so goddamn much. I could barely contain it.

“I think I’m starting to,” he said just as softly.

I gripped the side of his neck and pulled his lips up to mine, kissing him soft and slow. This boy was so sweet and everything good in this world. I would treasure him for the rest of my life; that was a promise.

CHAPTER 13

Danny

I glanced up at Theo’s office door, my teeth gritted in agitation. It was cracked open the slightest bit, and I could still hear him on the phone. As much as I wanted to transfer this asshole to Theo so he could deal with the situation, I knew Theo’s call was much more important.
