I had grown attached to Thomas—and to Theo. It was going to hurt like hell if they let Danny and I go.

“Don’t fidget, baby,” Danny gently reprimanded. He gently grabbed my hands in his and forced them apart so I couldn’t pick at my fingernails and ruin my manicure.

“I’m worried,” I told him quietly as we entered the elevator. Danny scanned his badge to get us to the top floor, where our bosses were located, as well as our own desks. Only those with special clearance could get up there, like me, Danny, and the head of each team in the building.

“I know,” he gently told me. His blue eyes settled me when he looked over. “But everything is going to be okay. Don’t worry so much, okay?” He grabbed my hand in his and gave it a gentle squeeze. “I’ve got you.”

I blew out a soft breath. Not worrying so much was a lot easier said than done.

To distract myself, I released Danny’s hand and began to fix my hair in the shiny reflection of the chrome elevator doors. Then, I ran my hands over my sparkly, gold tie. My pants were the same shade, and I had matching gold eyeshadow on my eyelids, making my eyes pop beautifully.

Thomas and Theo had never said anything about my love for feminine things, so maybe they wouldn’t be bothered by catching me riding Danny’s cock like I was the star of a rodeo. Right?

The elevator dinged, and we stepped off onto the quiet floor. Classical music met our ears, which didn’t help me relax much. I could still think too much with that music playing. White noise was the only thing that really helped to quiet my mind. So, when I wasn’t with Danny, whose touch had a way of making everything in my mind go silent, I mostly lived with the sound of white noise around me, especially at home in my own apartment.

“Noah,” Thomas called from his open office. I jerked in surprise, almost tripping over my feet, but Danny quickly caught my elbow, steadying me. He gave my arm a gentle squeeze before dropping his hand back to his side.

I rubbed my sweaty palms on my slacks before walking into Thomas’s office, forcing a smile to my lips. “You summoned?” I asked.

He ran his eyes over me, and they darkened a shade. My dick plumped a little when he licked his lips before focusing his eyes on mine. “You look amazing today, Noah.” My cheeks warmed, and it took every bit of restraint to keep from fidgeting again. Thomas had never complimented me like this, and my heart was ready to take flight, fly across the room, and flop right into his lap. “Why don’t you work in my office today? I even brought a white noise machine with me today. It helps you focus, right?”

I just about melted into a puddle of goo. He’d done something so simple, but it meant so much. He might as well have ripped the part of my soul that didn’t belong to Danny right out of my chest. It was all his. He could have it.

“That’d be great,” I told him, a genuine smile tilting my lips this time. His eyes brightened at the sight of it, and I almost swooned. Why did this silver fox have to be so damn beautiful when he was pleased with me?

“Go get what you need from your desk and come on back in here,” he told me. “I’ll help you get set up and settled in for the day.”

“You don’t want your coffee?” I asked him.

“Later.” The smile he aimed at me punched a hole through my gut. “Let’s get you set up first.”

Theo knocked lightly on Thomas’s office door before stepping inside. He smiled at me before walking over to where I was diligently working, his fingers carding through my hair. I shivered under his touch. Theo had never done this before, and I wasn’t sure how to react to it. What was up with both men today?

Theo smelled fucking delicious—good enough to eat. I glanced up at him from beneath my lashes, a shiver rolling down my spine at how good it felt when he scraped his blunt nails along my scalp.

Damn, why did he have to be as sinfully hot as his twin?

Theo never stopped running his fingers through my hair as he spoke to his brother. “Got a call from Ralph,” he announced, making Thomas look up from his computer mid-type. “He’s requesting a meeting for a possible business deal. I told him I’d talk to you first. Danny currently has him on hold.”

Thomas leaned back in his chair, steepling his fingers together over his flat stomach, his elbows resting on the armrests. He was the perfect image of sophistication, wealth, and power. I sank my teeth into my bottom lip. “What kind of business deal?”

“I believe he’d like to partner with us on some TV shows. Probably piggyback off our name.”

Thomas shook his head. “It’s a no-go. He’s not experienced enough, and his app is just starting. There are too many gray areas for me to feel comfortable. I don’t even need a meeting to know that.”

“Sure thing.” Theo gently tugged my head back by my dark hair, smiling down at me. My dick went from soft to hard so fast, it made me dizzy. “Don’t let him work you too hard, boy.”

He left without another word, leaving me blinking after him, my scalp tingling from his lingering touch. When I looked back at Thomas, there was a secretive smile on his lips that I didn’t understand but made my heart race anyway.

What in the hell kind of game were Thomas and Theo playing at?

I pulled up my text thread on my laptop, silently thankful that I could still text Danny this way. Thomas and Theo were both big on cell phones not being allowed while we worked, though they didn’t care what we did on our laptops so long as our work got done. I didn’t fully understand the rule considering the laptop thing sort of contradicted the cell phone rule, but I didn’t get paid to argue.

Noah: Is Theo being weird with you?

Danny: Fuck yes. Is Thomas being weird, too?
