Danny swallowed thickly, his fingers subconsciously beginning to run through Noah’s dark waves. Thomas’s boy snuggled deeper into Danny, seeking his comfort in this unknown situation.

“I read part of your messages,” I explained. Danny clenched his jaw in anger, but I ignored it. “We wanted to clear some things up.”

“Like?” Danny growled. Fuck, my boy could get bristly when he felt cornered. I was thankful my slacks were loose enough to hide my body’s reaction. Danny was downright sexy when he let his temper loose.

“Baby boy,” I quietly warned him, “that temper is going to get you in trouble.”

“We want you,” Thomas told them so Danny and I couldn’t get into one of our spats. “Both of you.” Danny blinked in surprise. Noah swallowed thickly, his fingers grasping at Danny’s shirt, wrinkling it. “We have since you two started working for us two years ago. My connection with Noah runs deeper, as his needs align more with mine, but I crave you both,” Thomas explained.

“As do I,” I added. “And just like Thomas, my needs align more with yours, Danny.” His lips were softly parted in surprise, and I wanted to do nothing more than plunder his sweet mouth. “But I do want both of you. If you’d be willing to give us a chance to make this work, we’d like to start tonight by extending an invitation for dinner at our place.”

Noah looked at Danny, but I didn’t miss the hopeful look in his eyes. “Danny?” he softly asked, cupping my boy’s cheek to force his eyes away from me. I felt their loss like a punch to my gut. “Can we?”

Danny brushed his nose with Noah’s, and my heart clenched in my chest. God, they were so sweet and perfect together. “Of course, we can, baby,” he murmured. He pressed a soft kiss to Noah’s lips before looking back at us. “Send me your address,” he told me. “What time should we be there?”

“Is six-thirty doable?” I asked him. When he nodded, I inclined my head in his direction. “Then six-thirty tonight it is.” I glanced at my watch. “Why don’t you two go on home and relax?” I asked. When I looked at Thomas, he nodded in agreement. I looked back at our sweet boys. “We can manage a couple of hours without you.”

Danny’s brows furrowed in concern. “You sure? I don’t mind staying, Theo.”

“Go home, baby boy,” I rumbled. His cheeks colored the most adorable shade of pink, and it just made me want to wrap him up in my arms and never let him go. My boy liked pet names; I made a mental note to use them as much as possible.

Danny stood to his feet and gently set Noah on his before linking their hands together. “We’ll see you two later then,” he murmured before gently tugging Noah along. “Come on, babe.” He lifted his arm to wrap it around Noah, which made Noah’s arm drape across his chest. “We’ll decompress at home.”

I watched them go and didn’t say a word until my office door shut behind them. Thomas cleared his throat, drawing my eyes to him. “You think they’ll agree to be with us?” A worried frown pulled at his lips. “Noah looks a bit shaken up.”

I clapped my hand to his shoulder before striding to my desk. “Danny will take care of him, Thomas. Trust my boy to be strong enough for that. He has been this long.”

Thomas sighed before slipping out of my office, heading back to his own.

I just prayed everything went smoothly tonight. I was tired of not having Danny and Noah in the way I wanted them.

Especially Danny.

It was high time those boys became ours and let us take care of them.

CHAPTER 7

Thomas

The doorbell rang at 6:25, and a small smile tilted my lips. Leave it to our boys to be a little bit early. I was pretty sure if it had been left up to Danny, he would’ve rang the bell at 6:30 on the dot, but I knew Noah’s anxiety wouldn’t let him be just “on time” to anything.

To my sweet boy, on time was late.

I walked to the front door and swung it open, smiling at both of them before letting my eyes linger on Noah. He had changed out of his work clothes and was now wearing a pair of pink skinny jeans and a black crop top. A pink headband was pushing his curls out of his eyes, and he’d done his make-up. The eyeliner and mascara he was wearing made his eyes pop.

He looked damn near good enough to eat. I loved how he embraced what other people frowned upon. Noah was a beautiful soul, and one of my favorite things to witness was seeing him express his soul through his fashion and makeup choices.

Danny had changed into a pair of dark wash jeans and a plain white t-shirt, a scuffed-up pair of Converse on his feet that were a direct contrast to the adorable black flats with a bow on Noah’s feet. They were so different, but they meshed together well.

“Come in,” I told them, stepping aside so they could walk into the house. “Was the drive over here okay?”

“The drive was fine,” Danny gruffly told me. I led them into the kitchen, where Theo was serving up plates of food. I helped my brother carry them over to the kitchen table, where we had decided to eat. The dining room was massive with a table just as big, which wouldn’t work for tonight since we wanted a setting that was a little more intimate.

“Go on and take a seat,” I told them, nodding my head at the table. “Would you like anything to drink?”

“Water,” Danny answered as he pulled out a chair for Noah.

“I’ll take the same,” Noah softly answered as he smiled at Danny in thanks. I could hear the nerves in his voice, and it just made me want to wrap him up in a hug and never let him go.
