Ifelthimeverywhere:on my ass, in my pussy, around my throat, and I tasted him in my mouth. No, I wasn’t complaining. However, standing next to the catering company manager and talking to him while Mr Thorn’s cologne was tingling my nose and my mind still drifted to that amazing sex wasn’t very appropriate. I was watching the man’s lips moving, but I didn’t hear the words. I saw him gesturing toward the back of the room, where the podium was, but I still didn’t have any idea what he was talking about.

All I could think about was the sexiest, hottest, most provocative devil who had opened the door to another dimension for me. He was leading me inside, skilfully fulfilling my desires and teaching me new things, making me blush every time I’d secretly dreamed about it.

"Am I boring you, Miss Hernandez?" the manager, Rick, asked in an annoyed voice, glaring at me.

I blinked a few times, focusing on his frowning face. He took off his glasses, his brown eyes burning holes into mines, and I suppressed an irritated sigh. I didn’t have the patience for him. And before I could take a deep breath and object to his accusation, he started again.

"You know, this party is a chance for my company," he lectured me for at least the fifth time. He felt the unending urge to remind me of how important this event was for him. "I want Sebastian to be satisfied with everything. And you’re not making it any easier." He exhaled theatrically, and I raised one eyebrow. He didn’t pay attention to my clear exasperation and continued. "Why the hell didn’t he send someone competent here—"

"First of all," I cut off his stupid show. "It’s Mr Thorn for you. Only his friends call him Sebastian." My angry voice resonated in the empty room, and a few of his employees turned to us, surprised or maybe happy that someone finally said something to this self-centred idiot. "And second, I’m here because my boss,Mr Thorn." I emphasised the name and said it much louder for everyone to hear. "Trusts me to take care of this. I have enough time to replace you, and I guarantee you my boss will sign the paper without even looking at it!"

The situation had escalated very quickly, and Rick’s words certainly didn’t help.

"You’re fucking him, aren’t you!" he shouted, and without thinking, I slapped him hard across the face. The sound was bad, but the silence in the huge room was even worse. However, I was so pissed that I was ready to punch him in the gut if he said something outrageous again.

"You’re fired," I hissed through gritted teeth, doing my best to contain my temper. I would rather explain my actions to Mr Thorn a thousand times over than proceed to talk with that piece of shit.

"You filthy slut! You can’t do that," Rick screamed like a lunatic. "Do you know who I am?" I turned around, not interested in listening to his nonsense, and I gasped. Two huge men dressed in all black were quickly approaching us, and my heart sank into the pit of my stomach. I clenched my jaw, preparing myself for an argument with his bodyguards when they walked past me, completely ignoring me, and stopping in front of the raging guy.

"Who the fuck—" One of the giants raised his hand, and that simple gesture stopped Rick in the middle of the sentence. Most likely no one was courageous enough to stand against that mountain of a man.

"Say one more insulting thing to Miss Hernandez"—he warned in a totally calm voice, which was in huge contrast with his threatening stance and raised index finger—"and I can guarantee you, we will meet under very different circumstances."

"Do you think I’m scared of your boss?" Rick spat, his face twisted with anger.

"If you’re not, you’re very stupid," the man replied and turned to me. "Mr Thorn wants you back in the office," he said, motioning for me to walk to the door. I silently followed him, noticing the sideways glances I was receiving from the different employees. Not that I cared, but I remembered the conversation with Mr Thorn about his private life. He valued his reputation a lot, and my behaviour could be interpreted as I was very sure about myself. Shit! I should have thought before firing someone. I didn’t have the authority to do that.

I entered the Thorn Enterprises building with a deep scowl on my face. A million different scenarios were playing in my head about the consequences of my actions. It was one thing teasing Mr Thorn and having amazing sex with him, but this was his company. I slapped and fired the cousin of one of his business partners. Oh, my God! I was a secretary—a fucking PA—not someone who could make these decisions. Fuck! How could I be so stupid?

"Electra!" I winced in shock when Mr Thorn yelled into my ear. I was sitting behind my desk, and I didn’t have a clue when or how I had gotten there.

"I’m sorry," I mumbled, my cheeks flushing red in a second as I was staring into his blue eyes, which were burning my soul. But he wasn’t furious like I’d expected him to be. He actually looked serenely calm, which was much scarier.

"My office," he commanded after a moment of long silence, and I quickly stood up, following him.

"What happened?" he asked in the moment I closed the door behind me.

"I slapped Rick and fired him as well," I answered, biting my lower lip, expecting a brutal scolding. I just hoped it wouldn’t affect our personal relationship.

"Princess," Mr Thorn addressed me gently, and my eyes widened in surprise. He was acting totally different than I’d thought he would. "Tell me the reason, not the outcome."

I took a deep breath and told him everything that had happened. He listened without interrupting me, not once giving the impression of an angry boss.

"Did he really call you a slut?" Mr Thorn inquired with a stoic expression, and I nodded.

"Filthy slut," I confirmed, and he narrowed his eyes at me. I saw as his face darkened, and he clenched his right palm in a fist.

"Another catering company will take care of the party," he announced firmly, stepping closer to me. "Are you okay?"

"He isn’t the first idiot I've met in my life, sir." I giggled when he wrapped his arm around my waist. "I was actually more afraid of your reaction."

"Because?" Confusion was clearly written on his face, and I wanted to slap myself this time for being so stupid and telling him this. It wasn’t important.

"I’m your assistant, sir," I pointed out, but his expression didn’t change. "I can’t fire anyone." I shrugged, and a small smile appeared on his plump lips. He pulled me closer, kissed my forehead, and I melted in his arms. I was so scared of him that I’d almost peed my panties, and here he was, hugging me and making sure I was okay. Was this guy real?

"I have a present for you," he muttered into my hair and pulled away. He winked at me, leaving me in the middle of his office and opening a giant closet in the wall. I came closer, watching him as he took out the big box wrapped in pink paper with a pretty bow on top of it. It was so sweet.

"What date did you put on our contract?" he asked, taking me by surprise. I frowned, thinking for a moment, then shrugged.
