"Sounds like your brother's car?"
"They brought Heron out to see the new goats." Red stands on tip toe to collect a kiss and I add a swat to that sweet ass of hers as she heads off to meet up with Mesa and his family.
Ten years and three children-- and now four kids-- with that woman and I still can't get enough of her.

Mesa and Robin exchange a glance between them that says plenty.
"Holy shit, man, congratulations! It's about damn time, brother."
I pull both Robin and Mesa in for hugs, happy as hell to hear their news.
Goats are social animals and with Heron being an only child for so long, his goat's been living with Uncle Glen's herd so it wouldn't be lonely.
Mesa and Robin building a pen means Heron's getting a little brother or sister-- and so will his goat.
Together, the four of us watch the kids and the goats playing in the field for a few more minutes before calling them to come in and clean up for dinner.
Later, when the kids are crashed out, and the guests have gone home, I snuggle up beside Red and slip my hand under her nightgown.
