There is a long moment of silence that seems to stretch on for an eternity before Xavier speaks. "Well then," he says at last. "Looks like we have a few options." His nostrils flare at the sight of the bleeding man, raising his hand briefly to his nose before speaking again, "We can tear him apart the fun way or the tough way…I know it's a difficult dilemma."

He closes his eyes briefly before opening them again slowly. A smile spreads across his face while he counts off each option with a finger. "Or I could just make that decision for you." He leans back in his chair briefly, tapping his fingers together contemplatively before adding dryly, "-or I could suggest Ms. Mia have her way with him."

Xavier turns to me momentarily and smiles widely. My cheeks flush as words escape me. Everyone in the room stares expectantly.

"That's not funny," I hiss angrily at him.

He shrugs one shoulder as if he couldn't care to give me any more than that. "I'm not joking, darling. You wanted a closer look at my work, did you not?"

The room falls completely silent for several moments while everyone waits for my response. It is an ethical dilemma of the most complicated kind—and, there is no right or wrong answer. The horrific truth is that this decision I am being forced into requires a level of detachment that I don't currently possess—if I could feel nothing at all, then there would be no conflict. Or perhaps it would just be easier to walk away than face these circumstances head on.

Xavier's right, and we both know it. I knew what I was getting into when I decided to stay, and what I was asking for when he told me I could come along. I turn to look at him again, skewering him with a strong stare.

"You're moving a little fast for a first date, love," I tell him.

The room laughs, and he smirks, leaning forward for a possessive kiss.

"This man was trying to break into your home?" I question, trying to keep my eyes on Xavier rather than the bloody, bruised man.

"Indeed," he muses. "And now, you see we are perfectly capable of taking care of our business. We can protect you, darling."

He did not have to say it for me to understand; I see this display of strength—of the power he and his guards possess—not as a warning but an affirmation. He is telling me that if necessary, he will go to whatever lengths are required in order for us all to remain safe. It's a clear announcement that no one will be allowed inside the walls unless deemed fit by Xavier himself. His loyalty lies with our safety, and there's an undeniable sense of pride radiating off him even in this instance.

My heart flutters with excitement and admiration as the realization sets in, and suddenly all other thoughts fall away -I know without a doubt that he would protect me from any harm or danger if push came to shove. He has become everything for me –my protector, my confidante- someone who ultimately understands what is needed not only for himself but also for those he loves most dearly…and right now, there’s no one more important to him than me.

Despite the gruesome situation, a part of my heart flutters with admiration for Xavier; his sheer confidence and unbridled masculinity commands respect—in an instant, my attraction deepens and I can feel the desire pooling in my core like warm honey glazing over ice cream.

"Good," I purr, resting my hand on his chest.

His eyes dilate in response to the change of my tone, becoming darker with a mirror image of my need for him. If only we weren't in a room surrounded by all these people... He grabs my waist and pulls me toward him, smashing his lips against mine--and proving that he doesn't care who's watching.

XAVIER

"Um, sir?"

Breaking the kiss, I gaze down at Mia, her flushed cheeks and hooded eyes revealing the depth of her desire. A smile tugs at the corners of my lips as I appreciate the effect our chemistry has on her. It fills me with a sense of pride and satisfaction, knowing that she is mine and that our love can flourish even in the midst of chaos.

As I glance around the room, back into the reality of our situation, a sense of urgency washes over me. I address my allies and advisors with a firm tone, the weight of my words conveying the importance of the task at hand.

"Do whatever you want with the prisoner," I say, my voice carrying a note of authority. "I have something more important to attend to."

I take Mia's hand in mine, leading her towards the waiting car with a sense of purpose. The anticipation of being alone with her, away from the prying eyes of my allies and advisors, fuels my desire to savor this moment of intimacy.

As we settle into the backseat, I lean forward and instruct the driver, "Back to the compound, please." The firmness in my voice leaves no room for negotiation. I continue, "Do not disturb us."

With a swift motion, I raise the partition that separates us from the front seat, ensuring our privacy within the confines of the car.

"Have I told you how irresistibly beautiful you are tonight?" I ask her.

She smiles mischievously. "I'm open to hearing about it."

I pull her toward me in the seat and latch my lips onto her neck. She tilts her head back, giving me more access to her skin. I graze my teeth lightly along her collarbone, savoring the way she shivers under my touch.

"Mia," I whisper, my voice low and husky. "I want you. Right now."

She doesn't need any more encouragement. With nimble fingers, she unzips my pants and pulls out my hardening cock. She takes me into her mouth eagerly, making me groan with pleasure.
