Page 49 of Her Three Hitmen

The spa they drive me to is more like a resort. I'm treated like a princess as they primp and pamper me with massages, steams, facials, mani-pedis and even food. The two men are never far off, watching me like hawks, but the spa staff don't find it to be strange at all.

Just when I think I'm done, that it's time to go home, they drag me to a different end of the building and start tugging at my hair with brushes, combs, and product. My makeup is done by women who I come to consider as professionals, and, once everything is done, a box is set on my lap.

In it? A beautiful silk jumpsuit with matching heels.

Hours later, I arrive back at the house, dressed in my outfit and looking more glamorous than ever thanks to expertly arranged hair and nails. The mansion stands tall before me, seeming grander with every visit. Mars opens my door again and offers his hand out to help me from the car.

Inside is just as magnificent as outside - beautiful blooms of all colors line nearly every wall or window sill while soft lighting creates a warm atmosphere for our guests that evening. Everywhere I turn there's something new to admire--a sparkling chandelier here; vibrant artwork displayed there; luxurious seating arrangements around each room…

And then I see them. Lucas, Antonio, and Xavier stand in the entry, greeting a group of guests. They are all stunningly handsome.

Xavier, with his mysterious hazel eyes and thick dark locks of hair; Lucas, with his charming grin and strong jawline that makes you instantly fall in love; Antonio whose caramel skin radiates with beauty when he smiles at you – each one of them could light up any room.

It's almost too much beauty for one room. I can feel the eyes of every woman on their immaculate figures - sculpted bodies atop statuesque frames garnished attractively enough to render anyone speechless at first sight. Even knowing how lucky I am that these three stand before me as mine still doesn't seem to sink in until they turn towards me simultaneously matching grins.

My heart does cartwheels inside my chest because however handsome they may be individually, together there is no comparison – enhanced only by the affection emanating from all four of us like beams radiating out that draws others closer yet knows it won’t ever be replicated, not even close.

"My, my," Antonio greets, striding over to me. "Aren't you a vision?"

A blush crawls up my neck as countless eyes turn toward us. More attention follows as both Lucas and Xavier join the two of us, each of them taking turns in placing kisses on both of my cheeks.

"Everyone is staring," I whisper self-consciously.

"Can you blame them?" Lucas teases.

I can feel the heat of his body as he leans in closer, and I am suddenly aware of my lack of clothing beneath the silk fabric of my jumpsuit. The thought sends shivers down my spine, but I cannot help the way my body reacts to their proximity.

"Shall we?" Xavier asks, holding out his hand to me.

I nod, taking his hand and allowing myself to be led into the dining room. As I walk, I can feel their eyes on me, and I can sense the tension building between us, like a steamy haze that threatens to consume us all.

As we take our seats at the table, I can't help but feel like a queen surrounded by her most loyal and trusted knights. The conversation is light, filled with laughter and jokes that make my sides ache from all the mirth. But underneath it all is an undercurrent of tension – a reminder that this is not just an evening out with friends but business as well.

Dinner is a lavish affair, with course after course of exquisite food and decadent wine. As we eat and drink, conversation flows effortlessly between us, with every topic covered from politics to art to business.

I try to pay attention to the conversation, but it's hard with Lucas' hand grazing against my thigh under the table. I bite my lip, trying to suppress a moan as he slowly moves his hand higher and higher. Xavier notices our little game and smirks, his eyes never leaving mine.

"To business," Antonio says finally, setting down his wine glass with a decisive clink. "We've got some serious decisions to make."

Lucas removes his hand from my thigh, and I can't help but feel a sense of disappointment at the loss of his touch.

"Most pressing of all," Antonio continues, "is the issue with the rival gang. They've been encroaching on our territory, and we can't let that stand."

Xavier nods in agreement. "We've got to send a message to those bastards. Make them understand that we're not afraid of them."

But as the night progresses, I become more and more aware of the looks being exchanged between the people at the table. They are subtle, almost imperceptible, but they are there nonetheless.

My heart races as I realize that I am witnessing something I should not be privy to - a discussion that could only be held in closed circles. Mia's instincts had been right. The decisions made here would affect not just those at this table but potentially countless others.

Murmurs carry around the table, as they have since I walked in, as people wonder exactly who I am and why I'm here. "She looks rather plain," one woman insists with disdain--clearly jealous. Another says, "The way Xavier looks at her is... strange."

Frustration bubbles up in my chest until I can't take it anymore. Lifting my hand, I gesture to Xavier. He leans over, lending me his ear.

"If you don't kiss me this instant," I threaten, "there will be hell to play. Do you understand?"

An amused grin spreads from his lips to his eyes. "Yes, ma'am." And then his lips are on mine in a very clear and passionate display.

Smug satisfaction fills my chest, surprising me but also pleasing me as the jealous hags look away. Xavier shoots me a wink as I settle back into my seat. Lucas's hand returns to my thigh, wandering up the silky pant leg of my jumpsuit until he reaches between my legs. I bite down on my lip to prevent any sounds from coming out, locking eyes with Antonio as he smirks knowingly.
