Unsure if it was the same rope they used to tie up Dante; I smiled at the thought. Sitting up, I lifted my shirt over my head, then tossed it to the floor behind me. He reached between my breasts, snapping the front clasp open with a flick of his fingers. My tits sprung free, and I slid the straps off my arms, letting it fall to the floor by my top.

“Yes,” he answered my silent question. “The same rope, but not the one we used on him. Nico destroyed it when he cut him loose.”

Without warning, he rolled over, flipping me onto my back, parting my legs as he settled himself between them. His eyes darkened as he stared into my gaze with primal lust, rolling one of my nipples between his fingers. “I cut his feet off and made him try to walk to me.” He pressed himself hard against me, grinding his cock into me.

“Did he scream in pain?”

Lowering himself, he placed his lips next to my ear. “It’s the ones who act the toughest, who scream the loudest.” He pulled my earlobe into his mouth, sucking it before moving his lips to my neck as he tweaked my nipple between his fingertips. “I will never hesitate to kill for you,” his lips grazed my skin. Reaching down, he unbuttoned and unzipped my pants before standing.

I lifted my rear up as he yanked them down with my thong, removing both and leaving them on the floor. Taking my hand in his, he pulled me off the bed, twirling me around slowly, drinking in my presence. “You’re so fucking perfect in every way.” I was about to thank him when he suddenly spun me around and pushed me onto the bed. I struggled to regain my balance, but before I could even process what was happening, he had my hands pinned behind my back and was tying them together with rope. “Good girl,” he praised, giving it a tug to ensure it was secure.

My cheek to the mattress, I waited in anticipation as he parted my legs with one hand. Reaching between my thighs, he stroked a knuckle up and down my slit, feeling how wet I was for him. I felt the tip of his hardened length pressing against me. I moaned softly as he dragged his thick cock along my entrance, but whined louder when he slipped inside, filling me up with one thrust.

“Shhh,” he whispered as his hand traced circles on my rear while his other hand held my hip in a tight grip. “Not a sound.”

Long ago, he’d trained me to stay silent when necessary, but he made it challenging for me. It was almost like a game to him. I could hear the amusement in his voice as he spoke.

He continued to squeeze the rope slowly and deliberately entering me until he reached my cervix before pushing himself harder into me. I struggled to keep quiet, but it was useless. I buried my face into the blanket, unable to contain my moans.

SMACK!

Startled, I jumped, almost yelping at the stinging sensation on my bare ass. “I said, not a sound.”

He increased his pace, thrusting into me more forcefully. My eyes watered and I bit down on my lip to muffle my cries. He gripped my wrists tightly, using them as leverage as he pounded into me with even more intensity, causing my already tight pussy to constrict further.

“Cum for me, baby girl,” he commanded in a low growl.

Within seconds, I was lost in ecstasy, almost blacking out in pain and pleasure as we released at the same time. Slowing his pace, he pushed himself into me one last time then let my wrists go and pressed his palms to the bed on either side of me. Leaning forward, he kissed along my spine, panting heavily as he reached up to whisper in my ear.

“I fucking love you.”

“I… love you… too,” I panted.

LIFE & DEATH

LUKE

I always knew we’d have to say goodbye to one of our own one day. It was just a matter of time, and Mark didn’t count due to his betrayal. However, I never could’ve predicted it would’ve been Mila, of all people. The one person who had never wanted to be a part of our world but stayed by our side out of love and loyalty. She’d tried her best to fit in, supporting Tyler’s need to be at the club even though it wasn’t her scene.

Her death was unexpected and hit everyone like a ton of bricks. Tyler showed little emotion around the guys, but according to Ian, he’d spent the past four nights at their house with the kids. He and Jenna stayed up almost all night, and he cried with her while planning the funeral to take place a week later.

The cemetery was a somber place, filled with the quiet rustle of leaves and the distant hum of traffic. Headstones and mausoleums were arranged in rows, some weathered and worn with age, others still gleaming with fresh marble. The lush green grass had returned from winter and was newly landscaped, with the smell of soil lingering from the freshly dug grave. Mila lay in her closed, dark wooden coffin above the hole she’d be lowered into after we left.

A small cluster of people stood apart from the rest; Mila’s parents, siblings, and some of her extended family. They kept their distance from Tyler, almost as if he carried a contagious disease. It reminded me of a wedding where the bride and groom’s families were separated, sitting on opposite sides of the ceremony.

Tyler had invited them to stand with him during the service, but they declined. They didn’t want her buried near the Prescott family plot. Instead, they insisted on having her body transported back to where they lived. But Tyler stood firm, knowing their children needed to have a place to visit their mom whenever they wanted. Mila’s family gave him hell for his decision, but he remained stubborn. In the end, she was laid to rest not too far away from his parents, surrounded by an array of gorgeous flowers and shrubs.

Her family had treated him with nothing but disrespect and hatred, promising to fight him for the custody of the children. Little did they know the dangerous waters they treaded in among us. Tyler may have doubted his ability to raise them alone after her passing, but he was fiercely protective of them and loved them as his own. If he felt about the three of them like I felt about Maddie, I dared the Choi family to try to take them from him. All hell would break loose all over again. And I’d be right by his side.

He never once told them they couldn’t be in the kids’ lives. In fact, he invited them to spend time with them. He just wasn’t giving them up. They didn’t want to live with their grandparents. And he wasn’t forcing them to. Today, he chose to keep the peace, giving them space through the ceremony, allowing them to grieve their daughter just as he was.

The priest spoke for what seemed like an eternity, but I wasn’t paying attention. Instead, my eyes were hidden behind a pair of mirrored aviators, and I scanned the crowd and cemetery. Though we had armed guards posted around, we were still out in the open. I kept my arms firmly around both Jade and Maddie, ensuring I would be able to shield them in case of an ambush.

Hushed whispers and sobs filled the air as the priest finished speaking. Family members made their way to the head of the coffin, saying their goodbyes. One by one, all the people began to leave, and Tyler insisted on staying for a few moments, with only his kids so he could have a private moment with them. They huddled together around her. He held Naya in his arms, the boys at his sides. Naya let a flower fall out of her hand and onto the top of the casket, then buried her face in her father’s shoulder.

Just as she did, Mila’s sister approached them from behind, tapping Tyler on the shoulder. Glaring their way in case I needed to step in, I gnawed the inside of my cheek. To my surprise, she leaned in, hugging him and Naya first, then Evan and Jackson, before she trudged away. Tyler set Naya down and she took her older brothers’ hands before they led her over to Ian and Jenna.
