He starts thrusting hard. I feel him on my G-spot again, giving me that out-of-control feeling like I’m just going to gush everywhere.

Faster, harder. Everything in the world except our bodies disappears. The shower water drums against our muscles.

Don’t wait for me, I want to say. There’s no way I’m going to come again after all that. But then he’s hitting the exact right spot, and he knows it, because he has his cock exactly where I need it.

“Oh shit,” I say, surprised by the orgasm I know is coming.

“Yeah?”

“Yeah.” Hell yeah. A hundred times yeah.

He moans while he keeps going, trying to keep his own climax back. I risk taking a stabilizing hand off the wall to rub my clit, and few delicious moments later, I get there.

“I’m coming,” I whimper.

Alistair roars and pounds into me with everything he has, making my orgasm explode just as his does. We both shout with the intensity of it.

We stand like that for a while, under the beating water, Alistair hugging me from behind.

“You’ll be the death of me,” he says.

Right back at you, I want to reply. I can’t even put into words how much he has turned my life upside down. I don’t even recognize myself.

“You’re a force of nature,” I announce. That’s definitely what he feels like, the way he blasted into my life and into my body. “You’re a tornado.”

He spins me around so that I’m facing him and looks into my eyes. “You’re the tornado.”

Alistair wraps me in a fluffy towel and takes me to bed. I don’t know what rich-people towels are made from, and I don’t know how they stay so soft, but I cuddle into it as Alistair holds me from behind.

“Are you happy?” I ask.

I don’t know where the question came from, except perhaps that I was feeling so content and satisfied.

“Only when I’m with you,” he replies, his embrace tightening around me. His strong arms make me feel feminine, loved, protected.

Uh-oh, I think. Must not catch feelings.

Must not catch feelings for the bad billionaire.

But I’m not that naïve. I know it’s already too late.

Chapter 24

Doughnuts

Iwake up thinking that four more nights will not be enough. Of course it won’t be enough to do all the exploring we want to do. But the whole reason I agreed to this rather exotic arrangement was that it would only last a week. If it were to last longer, it would compromise me.

I know Alistair would laugh at that, but it’s true.

My dad always says that if you stand for nothing, you’ll fall for anything.

Before meeting Alistair I had a moral compass, a responsibility to the planet to do what I could to harm her less, and encourage others to do the same. I know that I’m no Greta Thunberg, but I did my bit.

Now I feel like I don’t care about anything but Alistair. The world could be burning but as long as I have him, I’ll be okay. He’s more than a distraction. He’s a life-altering addiction.

“That’s not the face of someone who had incredible sex last night,” says Alistair, arriving with coffee. He’s wearing his gym clothes again, which makes him look like an athleisure supermodel.

I laugh. “Was I frowning?”
