Tyler thrusts slowly at first, gripping my hips. After a minute, he starts to go deeper. The pleasure intensifies. I whine and groan.

“Tyler, that feels…oh god…”

I twist the bedsheets in my fists as the feeling amps up.

“So good…” I rasp as his cock fills me.

“Really fucking good,” he says behind me.

And then he moves his hand between my legs and starts to gently tease my clit. My eyes roll back at how good it feels. Heat simmers between my legs and the pleasure kicks up.

But then, suddenly, I get a flashback. Of Robbie and me doing this same position, of him touching me in the same way.

I was focusing so hard on having an orgasm, I started to lose my focus on how good it felt.

I remember gently pushing his hand away, telling him how sorry I was, but it just wasn’t going to happen this time.

He made an annoyed grunting noise before gripping my hips and thrusting a few more times into me before he came. And then he let go of me and pulled out.

“Sometimes I wonder if your body is broken, Tori,” he mutters.

I freeze, stunned that my brain chose to relive that moment. My entire body goes cold.

Tyler stops moving behind me. “Baby, are you okay?”

I don’t answer. I just stay quiet and shake my head. I’m scared if I say anything right now, I’ll burst into tears and make things even more awkward than they already are.

He pulls out of me, then moves to look at me.

“Tori…”

I twist my head to look at him, floored by the concern in his eyes. He looks so worried.

He helps me to move into a sitting position. He settles next to me and wraps his arms around me.

“What happened?” He kisses the top of my head. “Are you okay?”

I close my eyes, soaking in the gentle tone of his voice, how sweet he sounds.

I shake my head. “I’m so sorry.”

“Don’t apologize.”

“I ruined the moment.”

“Hey.” He gently grabs my chin in his hand and turns me to look up at him. “Listen to me. You didn’t ruin anything.”

His gaze is tender and intense all at once. I know he’s telling me the truth.

“I don’t want you to be worried about me or what we were doing. I just want you to feel safe and comfortable,” he says. “And if anything we’re ever doing makes you feel anything other than that, I want you to stop me. Okay?”

I nod.

“I promise I won’t get upset. I promise everything will be okay.” He presses a light kiss to my mouth before hugging me tight.

That knot in my chest loosens. Seconds later, it disappears completely.

Because I feel totally safe and comfortable with Tyler.
