She blinks and gazes at me through sleepy eyes. She smiles at me and it feels like I’m floating. Has seeing anyone else smile had this effect on me?

Nope. Not even close.

It’s official. I’m crazy about this woman.

Maybe it’s weird that I feel this way already. We’ve been friends for a while, but technically we’ve only spent one night together.

It’s not weird to me though. Being with Tori feels right, it feels natural. It feels like we’ve been together forever. That’s not something I’ve ever experienced before with anyone.

And it feels like this fake relationship isn’t so fake anymore, at least not to me.

The urge to tell her rockets through me. It’s powerful, like the urge to jump or run.

But I hold back. I don’t want to freak her out by spilling my feelings.

“Hey,” she says in a soft voice.

I kiss her forehead. “Hey. You hungry?”

She flashes a gorgeous wide grin. “Always.”

“How about my famous breakfast sandwich?”

She kisses me. “Yes, please,” she says against my lips.

We get out of bed. I throw on my jeans from last night and head to the kitchen while Tori scurries to the bathroom.

I pull out some ingredients from the fridge and set them on the counter. When I go to grab a frying pan, my gaze catches on Tori, standing in the kitchen wearing my shirt and nothing else.

I freeze, my heart in my throat. She looks so damn cute with her messy bed hair, wearing my shirt that’s way too big for her.

I stare, willing my brain to remember this sexy and adorable image forever.

I walk over to her, grab her by the waist, and pull her to me.

“You wearing my shirt is the hottest thing I’ve ever seen,” I say before kissing her.

“Really?” she says, a shy smile on her face.

“Really.”

I give her another kiss before I head to the bathroom to take a quick piss. When I come back, her back is to me and she’s on her tiptoes as she reaches for a mug in her cabinet. I zero in on her ass, how my shirt’s riding up and showing a sliver of her two perfect ass cheeks.

I walk up to her and cup her adorable ass in my hands. She yelps, then giggles before turning around and playfully smacking me on the shoulder.

“Copping a feel, huh?” she teases.

I shrug. “Can’t help it. Your ass is perfection.”

She kisses me, then starts to brew a pot of coffee. I flip on the oven and throw a bunch of slices of bacon onto a baking tray. I put the tray in the oven and start grating some cheese.

Tori hops on the counter and hands me her mug of coffee. “Here you go, Chef Tyler.”

I chuckle and take a slow sip, the coffee soothing as it coats my tongue. Warmth lingers even after I’ve swallowed the coffee, settling in the center of my chest.

I gaze at Tori wearing my shirt, sitting on the counter while I make her breakfast, sharing a cup of coffee.

I move to stand between her legs and kiss her. “We need to make this a thing.”
