Knowing that I’d marked him like that, did me in.

I gently lowered his legs to wrap around my waist. He was still shaking, and I leaned down to give him a languid kiss.

It was achingly sweet and sexy as hell. I couldn’t get enough.

“Fuck, we’re good at that,” Reed chuckled.

As it was, I could barely manage a grunt.

“Is that a yes?” Reed quipped.

“Give me a second, my brain is still offline.”

Reed gently wiped my sweat-soaked hair from my forehead and cupped my face.

The serious intent in his eyes captured my entire attention. I was tempted to look away, to hide my vulnerability, but I fought my fear.

The luminous smile on his face told me he could read my cue.

This time, when I reached for him, the kiss was mauling. I slid my tongue around his, sucking on it greedily.

Our lips were feverish, frantic. I couldn’t get enough. It would never be enough.

Reed gripped my hair so tight I was sure I was about to lose a handful of it.

When we finally came up for air, he stared at me with a teasing glint in his eye.

“Let’s call in sick tomorrow,” he suggested, his voice hoarse.

“We can’t do that,” I countered as I kissed his flushed cheeks and then the tip of his nose. “But as soon as filming wraps for the day, I’m yours. And we have Saturday off.”

“I’m going out with Korry, remember?”

Reed’s playful smirk has me reaching down to pinch his ass.

“Ow,” he jolted. “As his wingman, that’s all. I swear.”

“Really?” I grumbled.

“Yes. Are you going to join us?”

“Can I take you to dinner first?”

“You mean, like a date?”

I kissed his forehead, his eyelids. “Yes.”

His sharp inhale was so fucking satisfying.

“I’d love to,” Reed whispered, “And then we can meet up with Korry and go dancing.”

“You can dance, I’ll sit and watch.”

“Who doesn’t like to dance?”

“It’s not a matter of like, but can’t. I had to use a body double in that western movie I did three years ago.”

“No way.”
