Bex turns back to face me in her saddle. “Tug back on the reins and she’ll slow. Pull back a little harder and she’ll stop.”

Immediately, I pull back on the reins, trying to get Skittles to slow, but instead she comes to an abrupt halt, and I rock forward, unprepared for the sudden stop.

Bex laughs at my surprise. “They’re a lot more sensitive to our movements than people initially think. When you get more confident, we can show you how to use subtler cues. You good?”

“Alright. Okay. Yeah, I’ve got this.” I catch my breath. “Alright, Skittles. Walk on.”

Skittles returns to her original pace and follows Bex and Sour Patch out onto the road.

The trail ride is quiet, with Bex and me chatting lightly as we make our way to our destination. Mostly, we spend the time taking in the landscape of trees and brush that surrounds us, absorbing the beauty of the outdoors.

“It’s so beautiful,” I whisper as we are approaching a circle of trees with a perfect view of the river.

“Gorgeous.”

I look over to Bex, who’s already looking at me, and I blush.

She shakes her head. “The Guadalupe River runs from Kerr County and down to the gulf. In the hill country, there are a bunch of camps and little hideaway vacation spots, but here we’re lucky to have part of it right on the property. So, we get it all to ourselves.”

We reach the center of the grove of trees and dismount. Or at least, Bex does while I struggle to slide off the horse. Thankfully, she catches me when I hit the ground, otherwise I would have tumbled backward.

Her arms wrap around me to steady me. I melt into her, letting myself sink into her softness. She’s only taller than I am by a few inches, but it’s just enough to where she’s able to lean down and place light kisses along my exposed neck and shoulder that make my spine shiver.

“I like that,” I whisper.

“Me too,” she says, running her lips up my neck again until she reaches my ear, which she nibbles and sucks on, causing me to sigh in pleasure.

“Let’s get lunch unpacked, shall we?” she asks, giving me a single kiss in that sensitive spot behind my ear.

Leaving the horses to graze nearby, we set up our picnic blanket and food.

All through our meal, Bex flirts with me, causing my skin to redden into what feels like a permanent blush I won’t be getting rid of anytime soon. She sits just close enough to me that our hands and bodies brush each other’s, my whole being shivering at each connection.

The sun is peeking through the gaps in the canopy of trees, and we’re lying together, me cuddled in the crook of her arm when she turns to me.

“Want to go for a swim?” she asks, a mischievous light in her eyes.

“We didn’t bring bathing suits,” I reply, wide-eyed at her suggestion.

“You have a birthday suit, don’t you?” She smirks and my jaw drops. “Come on.”

She rises from the blanket and starts stripping her clothes, revealing the lush body I drooled over that first night at The Playground. I’m frozen as I watch her reveal herself to me.

Her breasts, striped with glittering silver stretch marks, hang heavy when she takes off her bra. I’m rising up before I can stop myself, looking at her with need in my gaze.

“You want to touch?” she asks, that same playful look in her eye, daring me almost to act on impulses I would normally ignore.

“Yes,” I stutter out.

“What do you say?”

“Please,” I rasp. “Please, can I touch you?”

“Yes.”

My hands reach out from where I kneel, one going to cup the bulge of her belly, the other moving to caress her side.

My hand on her side slides up to cup underneath her breast, and my thumb runs along her skin. I love the weight of her breast in my hand, the color of her deep rosy nipples in my sight.
