Glancing at him even though I could only just see his face in the darkness.

“I do have a question for you…Would you really have chopped off my dick?”

He looked me eye to eye. “I need it too much.”

He placed his hand on my thigh and squeezed.

“You’re my soul mate.”

“I hope so, after what we just went through.”

“Hey, we are here,” I heard a male voice as sleep had stolen me. I wiped my eyes and tried to focus on my surroundings. I squinted a few times shocked to find it daylight, I had no idea how long we had been travelling or where we even were. “Hey there, welcome to my secret hideout.” A smile shone across his face, and I was left curious.

Rubbing my eyes and sat up in the seat. I stared around to find Antonio already out of the car and heading towards what looked like a log cabin. We were surrounded by trees and bushes, sensing we were the only ones there.

Opening the car door and my legs had turned to jelly. It took a few minutes for them to wake up, I climbed out of the car to see Antonio coming back, smiling gallantly.

He held his arms out. “What do you think?”

Staring at our new surroundings with only the sound of wildlife to annoy me.

“Wow, pretty.”

“Good, come inside the cabin. I have supplies as I stopped off, we are miles from anything.” He was an excited kid.

Smiling and decided to walk towards the cabin, up the steps onto a veranda. I carried on until I reached the double doors that overlooked the rolling mountains. I was surprised, speechless at such beauty. I saw Antonio coming back with shopping bags, the smile across his face told me many things.

“Impressive.”

“It’s stunning.” I smiled at him.

“Come, I need to give you the guided tour.”

I turned to follow Antonio into the cabin to find the whole place made of wood, a large open fireplace to my right, a sitting area, dining, and kitchenette and then some steps that led up to the open plan bedroom. I smiled, it was truly sensational.

“Do you need to rest?” I heard him say as I was too busy admiring the place. So pretty. I bet picture perfect in the snow. I imagined being snuggled up with Antonio under a thick blanket in front of the fire, so perfect with no chance of us being disturbed. The whole thought thrilled me. I sucked in a deep breath running my finger along the table, losing myself in my newfound surroundings.

“Daniella, do you need some rest?” I lifted my head to see Antonio holding a glass of bubbly.

I smiled and cocked my head to the side. “You know a way to a woman’s heart.”

“Only yours,” he said. He stepped towards me and grinned with perfection. His eyes were intense gazing hard at me. He was my hero, he saved me yesterday.

“I feel I need to reward you.”

“For what?” he asked standing before me.

“Coming back to the house to save me,” I kindly remind him.

“Oh, trust me there was no way the man was going to get out alive. One, he was in my house, on my estate. Two, my people were in severe danger. Three, no princess there was no doubt, no question I had to get back in seconds and save you. But right now, we can hold all thoughts on that, and instead…” He stood before me with the glass trapped between our aching bodies. “I have always wanted to bring a beautiful woman here and make mad passionate love to her,” he winked.

“Is that right?” I teased.

He placed the glass on the table. He moved his hands to my shoulders, it was then he pressed his temple to mine.

“I was so close to losing you,” he whispered.
