The words stunned me. I’d never heard speech so pure, so melodic. Thank god I hadn’t heard her until now—she would have made me her slave with a single word!

“Marry me,” I begged.

“Yes, of course I’ll marry you!”

I pulled her into my lap at once and cut off the wonderfully sweet sound of her laughter with a kiss. Then she was kissing me back, and I forgot all sense.

It wasn’t until we’d finally pulled apart, breathless and grinning at each other, that I noticed someone watching us. A silver-haired old lady stood apart, watching with a watery smile.

“Ari?”

“Yes, my prince?”

A thrill shot through me at the sound of her voice. I knew I would never tire of hearing it. “Who is that?”

She looked behind her, and though I hadn’t thought it possible, when she turned her gaze back to me her smile was even bigger. “My nanny. I thought she might stay with us and tend to our future children.”

“Yes,” I promised at once, punctuating the word with a kiss. “Anything you want, my love.”

She grinned, and the look in her eyes set my cock to throbbing as she murmured, “Anything?”

EPILOGUE

One Year Later

Damian’s arms encircled me as we both gazed out across the water. It was getting harder for him to do so as my belly continued to swell.

“We will have a little one soon,” he murmured, kissing my neck.

I leaned against him, sighing happily. “The sooner the better. I worry you’ll fall in love with someone else if I get any bigger!”

He swatted my bottom gently, making me laugh. “Nonsense. There is no one else for me, and well you know it, Princess.”

I smiled as my eyes looked out over the glittering water. I liked it when he called me that, but I liked to hear him say my name even better. Or best—he often called me Spitfire when we were alone and I hung from the leather cuffs he’d installed in our bedroom.

As though he could read my thoughts, his hand cupped my bottom and gave it a squeeze. “When our little one arrives and you’ve recovered, we will resume your training, wife.”

“My training?”

“Oh, yes. Don’t think I haven’t noticed how your mouth runs away with you. It’s high time I remind you who’s in charge here.”

I felt a shiver run from the top of my head all the way down to my curling toes. Trepidation, or excitement? Only time would tell.
