He blows out a breath and moves over to where I’m standing by the door.
“Sorry, I’m just … I need to go make him understand something.”
“With your fists?” I ask.
He rolls his eyes. “I’m not looking to start a fight.”
“Could have fooled me.”
He takes my face in his hands and looks me in the eye.
“I’m not going down there to argue. I promise.”
He sounds like he means it, but he still feels pretty agitated.
I put my hands over his, hoping to calm him a little with my touch.
“I’ll hold you to that. If E.A. comes up here with a split lip, I’m sleeping in his bed tonight.”
“You’re sleeping in our bed tonight,” he assures me. “With me, and maybe even Toshi and Leanne.”
“That sounds good,” I admit, though it would sound better if E.A. was included, too.
“I’m going downstairs. I won’t be long.”
“Okay. Okay. I’ll see what there is for breakfast or whatever while you’re gone.”
He lets me go and finishes buttoning up his jeans.
I open the bedroom door and step out into the living room.
Toshi’s door is open, and his room is empty.
The kitchen door is open, and that looks empty.
Huh. There’s nowhere to hide in the living room …
Then, I hear it. A low moan. It’s a sound that makes my cock react, and my heart start to race.
Spencer comes out of the bedroom, and I put my arm up.
He frowns at me, and raises his eyebrows when another, deeper moan spills out of E.A.’s bedroom.
