The plug in her ass is doing wonders but it doesn’t compare to her love of me acting like a fucking caveman when I need to have her. Dominating her, and forcing her to take what I’m giving her when she acts like she doesn’t want it… I press her wrists against the wall harder and grip her delicate neck with my other hand, squeezing until her eyelids flutter and her lips part on a silent moan.

Her head tilts back as I tower over her, blown pupils tracking my face as I slowly inch closer. I knock her feet apart making her more aware of my cock pressing against her core as well as the plug vibrating away. Her cheeks flush and her gaze moves to my lips.

She wants me right now, even if she doesn’t want to, and I know there’s no possible way she’ll turn me down. I slam my lips to hers, taking the kiss she’s been denying me. Yeah, it’s a dirty trick, but I don’t care.

I kiss her until she’s breathless and rip myself away, striding from the room, knowing she’s not ready to release her anger. Maybe once she kills someone else her ire will settle enough for me to slide back into her good graces. Just because she’s acting like she doesn’t want my attention, doesn’t mean I’ll stop giving it to her. I’ll wear her down until she forgives me.

Pulling my phone out again, I text the group as I make my way down the stairs. I ignore all the messages I received since I put it away and hope they agree.

Vander: I need you guys to keep her on edge until she forgives me.

Cole: You owe me.

Jasper: Only because I know she’s being stubborn and wants to move past it.

Pretty Boy: Absolutely not.

I should’ve known Grayson wouldn’t agree. He hasn’t been through all the same things the rest of us have. I’d like to see anyone else go through it and not be loyal to each other. He’ll learn though.

Cole gestures for me to join him and goes through everything he learned about Anthony. It shouldn’t be hard for us to get him alone.

Finally, a flustered Raven joins us. She gives me a frown before standing on the other side of Cole, wanting to get the same information he shared with me. “Mind if I borrow an SUV?” I ask Enzo.

He immediately opens a drawer at the end of the counter and pulls a set of keys out, throwing them in my direction without looking. “Let me know when it’s done, and I’ll tell the Don. Actually, send pictures through the encrypted dark site. He’s rather invested in seeing exactly what his ‘little enforcer’ can do,” he says, making air quotes with his fingers.

My eyes instantly shift in Remi’s direction knowing she’ll object, and sure enough, her spine stiffens and rage darkens her features. “I feel like I keep saying things and none of you are listening. I really like you, little bro, but this doesn’t seem like a permanent gig for me. Count me out for whatever plans involve me being an enforcer or whatever. I love killing, but not when someone else is dictating who I get to murder.”

Enzo rubs the back of his neck. “I know, but Padre won’t accept that as an answer. You have no idea how many times over the years he’s talked about bringing you home and having you take your place in the famiglia.“ His gaze is pleading for me to go along with him. But he’s sorely out of luck.

“You better convince him that I’m not his property to command any which way he likes. If you’re unable to do that, then I suggest you get ready to take over real quick because I’ll kill the motherfucker faster than he can get hard in one of your clubs.”

Did she just threaten to kill her padre? A rush of fear shoots through me. I’m not sure what Enzo or his boys will do. Technically, they’re supposed to kill anyone who speaks out against him on the spot, but this isn’t normal circumstances. Surely, Enzo won’t allow them to hurt her. He’s been missing out on this family dynamic his whole life just like she has.

Not knowing what’s about to happen, I immediately push myself in front of Remi, and catch Enzo’s two friends going rigid before they look at him for direction on how to react. Tension is thick in the air, but Enzo remains casually leaning against the counter, sipping another coffee with his gaze fixed on her. “Deal. However, I want you to help me out whenever I need your skills, and a minimum of once a year visits.”

Matteo and Luca exchange a bewildered glance and relief washes through me. My shoulders are able to lower as I take my hand off the gun tucked in the back of my pants. I step to the side, knowing my woman won’t be happy if I keep standing in front of her like she needs protection. Enzo nonchalantly finishes his coffee, not taking his eyes away from his sister, waiting for a response. “Have I told you you’re my favorite brother?”

“I’m your only brother,“ he says with a twitch of a smile.

“Doesn’t mean you can’t be my favorite,” Raven sing-songs with a wink. “I have some residual anger I need to work through. Let’s go find this Anthony shit bag who thinks he can take from my brother.” The last part she directs to the rest of us, turning around and grasping Jasper’s hand, threading their fingers together.

My fingers twitch against my pant leg wanting to reach for my gun. I don’t like that she’s so good at ignoring me when I practically had to peel her from my body when we were training. When did I start craving her to the point I can’t think of anything else?

Fucking love. It’s a goddamn plague.

The SUV comes to a slow stop outside the dry cleaners. It opened a few hours ago, but Anthony only works partial days. Something we know thanks to Cole hacking into, not only his schedule, but the tracking information in his phone. A schedule can lie, but the repeated pattern of his habits in the phone doesn’t.

Any minute now he should be coming out, and thanks to Cole, we know we didn’t miss him. Raven has spent the whole drive chatting away with Jasper, their voices too low for me to hear what they talked about as I drove. Her small chuckles reaching me every so often, and I’m thankful for him agreeing to my request or she’d probably fuck him purely to rile me up.

Grayson is in the passenger seat, head tilted back with his eyes closed. It’s not what I expected out of him, but he’s become corrupt ever since his date with Raven and their hammers. The hesitance he first showed when talking about possibly killing someone is now gone, the deaths not phasing him at all. I suspect seeing that side of our woman turns him on as much as the rest of us.

“Jasper and I will get him in the vehicle, then we’ll go to the club to finish him off,” I instruct, trying to get everyone’s heads in the game. Raven smiles at Jasper and gives him a kiss before climbing over the seat into the third row. A sharp slap reverberates through the enclosed space as he smacks her ass, and her resulting moan has both Grayson and I adjusting ourselves.

“Be good, Little Bird,” Jasper rumbles out, making me wonder if she actually did something to deserve the smack or not. She ignores him, instead tucking her head next to Cole’s to watch what he’s doing on his phone.

Raven’s head suddenly whips up, and I catch her eyes on mine in the rearview mirror. “Which club?” she asks.

“The nightclub,” I answer, forgetting her brother runs a club too, which also has a kill room in it. One she’s already played in. Without any of us. Yet another reason for me to be irritated with myself. We missed the whole thing, and there’s nothing I love more than watching her grow in her darkness.
